Only 2 choice really
Logitech Momo (around RM300) or Logitech G25 (around RM850). G25 has better pedals tho. You might want to wait for the G27 to be launched as it might mean the G25 will go cheaper.
Other than that, the Fanatec (hard to get retail here, but around RM1K) and also the FREX (order it from japan, around 10K per set, including a fully functional clutch gearing system)

Dunno about you mate, but I rather has this over GRID's f***ed up physics anyday. In GRID, which you like, the steering feels like it's on a pivot which slingshots your car through a corner, your car's top speed is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over what the car can really do, and most importantly I can't setup the car.

Sure it's fun, but if you want better physics, SHIFT is certainly better in that department. Real life speed, immersive cockpit (dunno why I hate GRID's cockpit view, always bumper cam), freedom to setup the car and also more choices of races. Sure it lacks LAN capability, and was rushed to meet the deadline that you can't even use a mouse, but physics and tyre model is top notch. And did I mention that the FFB is way better than GRID's and can be adjusted manually as well? There, now I've say it.

Honestly said, if you hate this game for they physics, GT5's physics is non the better as well, and you will surely hate the real life sims like RBR, rFactor, GTR series and also Live For Speed.

aku ble bawak lebih 100kms je, wheel jadi ringan dan kurang responsive.

tunggu azrink aja. game is in KL dude, and I am stuck at kampung until the 3rd Raya. BTW I thought your speed steering sensitiviry was 0? Unresponsive steering at high speed only occurs if Speed Steering Sensitivity is higher than that

Yes. Priority should be given to racing wheel owners because apparently i think they invested more for the experience hence deserve more attention from developers.

I think it is instead, blasphemous on the kb players to think that racing cars and its handling should be made to fit buttons controls instead of steering wheel.

Time has change and more can afford wheels nowadays. In the older NFS2SE days, yes keyboard was the only choice. Only a handful have a wheel but then it was just analog on/off switch.

U want realism, u got to play it as close to realism as the gaming technology can offer. Only then u can reap the whole potential of the game.

guys having LAG a bit on my gamecard

i had my card 250gts 1gb gigabyte still feel lags with 4gb ram in system

and duo2core 2.8 ghz.

is it the game problem or what?

playing Resident evil are fine but not this.. dam

NFS always make this LAG. like racing the time u feel like lag a bit and a bit.

Guys,i need help.I couldn't find the word "Exit" in the game while playing and i end up end task the game and now....when i try to play the game...after the NFS Shift finish loads...nothing come out =S

im not sure. is motion or what.

example start the challenge event and ur car waiting to race and that time it show the car u can feel the car like cd got scracth like that lag smooth lag smooth like that. when it lags it took like 1 sec .

i felt all the NFS game are like that from previous i think i had this trouble but not grid tho.

im not defult setting for my spec i think i can go high setting.

Press Esc button til the end and click down button until the end u will see Quit and press Quit u are leaving the game

menu shouldn't hv lag. racing..yes. it is lagging = microstutters and there's a lot of them. even on videos posted by ea months b4 release these microstutter n lagging exist, yet they didn't anything to fix it. aiyoyo... shakehead.gif

actually, no in-game exit. at least not during test drive. after test drive and 1 2 lap initial race, there'll be quit option. no ALT+F4 too.

Added on September 20, 2009, 8:29 pmthis one are based upon shift demo. for full version i'm not sure. just look for the controllerdefault folder. inside the folder you would find many wheels controller setup. find the file/wheel setup that u used in the game. its in xml format. open it with MSexcel. scrool down until you found something kinda look like this. and start TWEAKING..... before that please make BACKUP otherwise u'll be screwed if something wrong happened... happy tweaking.....and may god have mercy on you...lol

PLEASE make backup first. after edit save it back and test it. i'm not sure but since its based upon gmotor same with rfactor so the tweaking should almost be the same

invince~ wooo since start already have that issues since then huh~ pretty bad NFS lol sound like always have this issues on NFS series.

my screen meant to 1360 resolution or else will lag as well if i use 1240 .

wanna try some Whell. brought momo racing Logitech like 1 years never use more den 10 times. mayb is about time to bring it out again doh.gif

edit you must, delete you musnt. just reaname the original file into somethin. then add in the edited file and rename it as the original file that u've edited
