Basically what he implied was that "this thread feeds upon itself". This is quoted directly as i still rmbr. He went on to say that scrimm players should desire more than just to be top ranking in a pub server and mentioned "guys in lyn++ shold know what im talking about". After that he listed 2 sites of gotfrag's site,one featuring a guide underlining what a casual player should do to become a scrimm player and a very useful link to many demos of clans worldwide. Including pandemic clan.

He signed off by saying this place has turned into something like a jaguh RAM or sth. didnt make sense to me either

As for the training/scrimm,i have no idea yet. Those TnT dudes apparently only have 1 dude who handles scrimms so i gotta ask him about it later.Lets say we dont have a scrimm,what event should we have next? Hmmm... how about having a simulation match where we get a min of 3 on 3 and test out various strategies?

aight, so looks like we didnt really miss much.

the Training/scrimm thing, sure, something like that sounds fun. and worse comes to worst we could congregate and join a pug server (i know i keep saying this, but everytime i do its like a jinx that helps us come up with something better, so i'll say it again )

Well, I'd prefer to scrim. PUG also can though that'll be more to sharpen/trade skills with others - almost similar to what we did in the last Arena PUG.

As for the 3 vs 3 (or more), it's doable but has to be very controlled. For example; if DB then we'll only concentrate on A or B or C, one-by-one.

But yeah, scrim would be better.

Yeah thats exactly what i had in mind etsy. Cuz i believe every particular area in a map that we play in a scrimm,has different parts. For ex,db first map final cap.

A few parts to consider are :

1)engy and sg placing
2)Heavy and med on point
3)roaming solly/pyro/demo/scout

So,its not just a "we go in and kill them all" sorta thing,we gotta prepare strategies against each and every one of em.

in arena maps and let say i select to be an ng... which do i build 1st? sg or dispenser?

ps - tomato & curry.. my mic echo yesterday cos i was in speaker mode.. forgot to tell my xifi soundcard to change to headset mode, then it will boost the mic and remove the background fan noise..

its ok man. About your engy question,normally i'd recommend against taking an engy class as :

1)You wont have enough time to build proper support like dispenser and sg further out in the map

2)You can then only build near the base which enemies can shoot from afar

but if you really must know,i'd suggest a sentry first.

i could hear u guys quite early..
i'm not sure how i sound in the game..
currently i'm using a philips VOIP headset.. not too cheap or too expensive either at RM70..

Well... i dont know much about headsets but what i do know is,my 3 year old, bused in 1 ear ,rm 45 brandless one still works fine. Im not really a person who would spend a whole lot on computer peripherals like keyboards and headsets. I prefer to save my money for computer parts

My money will still be on Reptile. I noticed 75% were shots he never intended to kill. And, in GP he missed a jump to the roof but went up after he landed. However, I applaud his playing when killing scouts.

I'll set it on Sunday then. So looks like we'll be having 2 scrims over the weekend. Besides, curry and zero...who else? need 4 more (incl. 1 sub).
