depends on what character you are playing. if you are a Noble, then you can use soul arrow right away because he has a high Faith stat.

I'm using Thief... current faith level is 10 only from 8. Still can't use it yet.

edit: Finally figured it out. I just need a casting stick. lol.

lv20.If u r noble,then firstly u have to leave away the big boss and go up to the castle,kill those acher man,then stand at the high point as acher man to use u soul arrow to cast tat boss....but be careful of his atack wave.

after the first demon killed.... where u guys go?? continue will be the knight demon.... help....

You can head back to Nexus, talk to the Monastery guy, then it'll unlock the rest of the tombs. You don't have to face the tower knight first.

You can't change class. You're stuck with the one you chose.

in location 1-1 , 1-2 , the red dragon will appear... but i kill the red dragon at 1-2 place much easier since have tower there.. ..

here the step.. just run ur way to first check point safe tower at 1-2 stage... where u see all archer at the top.. kill the archer.. and bring bow and at least have 200 arrow to slay the dragon... stay at the top... then u will see the dragon will spray out the fire.. and then stop in front u and fly away.. the dragon will always trying to fire u but that tower is safe place.. just concentrate on dmging its body till the dragon died... it take long time to aim to the dragon.. then u will get demon soul boss fire scale...... in trophies section, have fly ing dragon tropy.. even u kill the red dragon.. the trophy wont unlock ..since red dragon have its twins... after tower knight battle.. at 1-3 stage... its blue dragon....

kill red and blue dragon.. then u will unlock Flying Dragon Boss trophy

i hate it when the blacksmiths cant upgrade my crossbow...... sigh.... btw, any u guys tried applying magic to ur swords? very curious to know the results.....

I think it's pretty much the same as using turpentine on swords.

Finally managed to take down the tower knight! The sense of accomplishment... nice.

mind tell us how you take down that tower knight? i spend the whole afternoon trying to do it but i always get trampled by his feet or zapped by his beams! i am using the temple knight character. should i just get a bow and kill him with arrows?

To kill knight tower... u have to use tupentine and bestow ur weapon in flame.... then use sheild repel his shckwave and go to his back....run.. then hit his back feet..near hell..then u will see.. his leg will dmg and start to spary out the gas.. hit again multiple time in flaming mode(turpentine)..until his leg armor broken into peice.. do same step on another leg...if both leg destroyed.. he will start fall down.. and run to his head.. and smack as much as u can.. im using tupentine... manege to kill him if u fast enough.. before he rise again... and for easier method.. kill all the archer first.. im using dual curved sword when fighting him..since dual sword super fast and deal good dmg...

this game is so hard... i am not sure if the one that is always killing me is the phalanx demon.. maybe not.. he killed my thief character 6 times already with a single strike of his sphere...

do you know where is the phalanx demon that we need to kill in the starting quest?

may i ask some question... after the very fight demon .... where do u guys go for the second one? 'stonefang tunnel' and wat the recommanded level?? i went to other place.... but its so hard.....

thanks for tip. i have tupentine but i don't have dual curved sword. i only have a scimitar +2 and a b@stard sword. i will try again following your tip with the tupentine and charged my scimitar with fire. you are so pro in this game, that i must respect you. old man like me didn't even think of using fire on the sword! lol.

Added on March 1, 2009, 7:19 pmthe phalanx demon doesn't use a spear. you are fighting some demon knight who will kill you easily with his spear unless you have leveled up your character. the phalanx demon is behind the big gates near the beginning of the castle. you can't miss it. the gate is very BIG!. you have to open that gate before you can fight the phalanx demon.

for those of you having trouble killing that demon knight with spear. there's an easy way to do it. all you have to do is to let him chase you until you go back to the tower staircase at the other end of the castle. once you reach the staircase, keep on going down until the stupid demon knight falls down to his death! lol. easy isn't it?
