mind tell us how you take down that tower knight? i spend the whole afternoon trying to do it but i always get trampled by his feet or zapped by his beams! i am using the temple knight character. should i just get a bow and kill him with arrows?

thanks for tip. i have tupentine but i don't have dual curved sword. i only have a scimitar +2 and a b@stard sword. i will try again following your tip with the tupentine and charged my scimitar with fire. you are so pro in this game, that i must respect you. old man like me didn't even think of using fire on the sword! lol.

Added on March 1, 2009, 7:19 pmthe phalanx demon doesn't use a spear. you are fighting some demon knight who will kill you easily with his spear unless you have leveled up your character. the phalanx demon is behind the big gates near the beginning of the castle. you can't miss it. the gate is very BIG!. you have to open that gate before you can fight the phalanx demon.

for those of you having trouble killing that demon knight with spear. there's an easy way to do it. all you have to do is to let him chase you until you go back to the tower staircase at the other end of the castle. once you reach the staircase, keep on going down until the stupid demon knight falls down to his death! lol. easy isn't it?

after so many attempts, I finally managed to kill the tower knight. I fought until my armor broke! lol. I had to use hit and run tactics on that big fella and changed to my two handed b@stard sword with flame to knock out the big guy. what a battle!!!!

anybody knows what to do with the boss demon's soul once you defeat them? do you just use them or make weapons with them?

i heard that the phalanx demon soul can be used to make a spear. how do i do that and do i have to rescue a NPC to make weapons from boss demon souls?

yes, those miners, dogs and the fat guy with the flame thrower are hard to kill. i had to level up in area 1 just to kill those guys without getting my arse kicked. to make matters worse, my armour is broken after fighting the tower knight. guess, i have to find more stones to upgrade my sword and more souls to upgrade my temple knight to kill flamelurker boss.

that happened to me too when i was a phantom in somebody's party. the game annouced that "ken123" black phantom has entered your game but before he could do anything to us, he got fried by the dragon in area 1-2. LOL!!!

you are suppose to save Ostrava 3 times. After you save him 3 times, you are suppose to get cool items. The third time to save him is past those big doors where you fought the Tower Knight. The game keeps saying you need a "Giant Soul" to get past those doors. Anyone knows what that suppose to mean and how to open that big doors?

i found out in neo gaf forum that you have to kill one of the other areas final boss before you can open the big door to advance to area 1-3 to save Ostrava. but they didn't say which area and which boss.

You are not the only one to have used a boss demon soul. I used up Phalanx's soul but I managed to save the Tower Knight's soul after reading about it in gamefaqs.

the door guarded by the lance knight aka 3 red eye demon can be opened once you get the key after saving Ostrava. of course you can kill him for the key but then you will be missing out on some rare item.

anyway, i managed to kill the red dragon with over 100 bolts using a crossbow. gotta have a lot of patience killing that red dragon. now i have the dragon's demon soul as well.

have you managed to open the big doors at area 1-2 to advance to area 1-3?

that blue ghost in the nexus died in my game also and turned into a soul which will give you 2000 soul if you use it.
will someone tell me how to open those big doors in area 1-2 so i can rescue that idiot Ostrava in area 1-3??!!!

he died because he was just sitting there at the nexus and didn't want to claim back his body. of course, i have heard ppl who killed him on purpose to get his stuff. anyway my temple knight is now level 30, i have repaired my armor and upgraded my b@stard sword to +5 and my scimitar to +6. with my stats, it's now more easier to fight in stonefang.

about the blue char in the nexus, i think he won't die if you don't talk to him enough. i kept talking to him until he said "who are you" or something like that. the next time i warp back to the nexus, he was dead and turned into a soul orb.

i remembered the way he talked last was like he lost his memory and don't know where he was and what he was doing. after that he bought the farm! lol

nope, everytime i checked the gate was closed. i must check again if the world tendency for area 1 is white.
i wish someone can explain this world tendency to us in detail here.

lol i didn't know that. i didn't like going back to 0 and start to collect all those ores all over again.
