Vidic braced for ban decision
QUOTE Published: 28 Jan 2009 NEMANJA VIDIC is set to discover whether he will miss the crunch Champions League double header with Inter Milan. The Manchester United star was sent off in the Club World Cup final last month. Vidic was given a red card for elbowing Liga de Quito striker Claudio Bieler in Toyko. And FIFA are ready to decide the length of his ban amid fears that he will miss both legs of the last 16 clash with Jose Mourinho's side. FIFA's disciplinary committee will hear the case on Friday, with a decision expected by Monday. The ban would be served in the Champions League because he was representing the European governing body at the FIFA tournament. United will meet Italian champions Inter on February 24 before the home leg on March 11. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport...icle2182268.ece |

then you should look at Michael Ball (hope this is his name) from M.City and Pogatetz from Boro. those are intentional. Vidic's not (IMO mind you).
still remember last season (or last two seasons) where everton lead by 2-0 before we made a come back to win 4-2. if we lost that match then we only lead Chelsea by GD. hope no heart attack this round. luckily it's at Old Trafford so minor advantage for us in terms of mentality and mood my XI: VDS Gary Rio(Brown) Vidic Oshea Park Scholes Carrick C7 Berbatov Tevez Sub: Kuz, chester, fletcher, giggs, evra(we know SAF |

Since there was totally no news or even slight hints that Park, Rio & Brown were going to be involved against WBA let alone starting [for Rio], it will not surprise me if somehow Rooney can make it on the bench as well! still remember last season (or last two seasons) where everton lead by 2-0 before we made a come back to win 4-2. if we lost that match then we only lead Chelsea by GD. hope no heart attack this round. luckily it's at Old Trafford so minor advantage for us in terms of mentality and mood my XI: VDS Gary Rio(Brown) Vidic Oshea Park Scholes Carrick C7 Berbatov Tevez Sub: Kuz, chester, fletcher, giggs, evra(we know SAF Our previous lineups: QUOTE Man Utd: Van der Sar, Neville (Eckersley 71), Ferdinand (Brown 70), Vidic, O'Shea, Park, Carrick, Giggs, Ronaldo, Berbatov (Tosic 77), Tevez Subs Not Used: Kuszczak, Scholes, Fletcher, Gibson So Giggs is not going to start or might not even in the squad depending on his fitness. Gary subbed off after 70min so should be fine as well. The only possible changes is who will partner Vida? This post has been edited by alien2003: Jan 29 2009, 06:01 PM |

QUOTE(solstice818 @ Jan 29 2009, 05:22 PM) Anyone complaining? That's more to moaning than complaining. pool fans And since you were talking about the necessary courage needed to report post, why dont you do the job?Not everyone is freaking-ly courageous like you are. As for pm admin and complaining mod, I think alien2003 did a great job.aw13 is away most of the time and alien2003 is the most active in moderating among 3.Who would want to complain him? lol that was at least 1 year ago.. now im not sure.. since post count has been banned there were fewer posts here in football lounge.. and quite a number of liverpool fans migrated to myrawk permanently before anyway, can u guys imagine everton recent fixtures? pool away, arsenal home then us away.. wow that must be tough.. and they robbed 4 points from both arsenal and liverpool This post has been edited by MADReaLJL: Jan 29 2009, 05:59 PM |

QUOTE(MADReaLJL @ Jan 29 2009, 05:57 PM) anyway, can u guys imagine everton recent fixtures? pool away, arsenal home then us away.. wow that must be tough.. and they robbed 4 points from both arsenal and liverpool Under David Moyes, they are always a tough opponent to play against. Now that they found their new weapon in Cahill, it will be interesting to see how we can cope with him and also Joleon Lescott during setpiece. |

QUOTE(solstice818 @ Jan 29 2009, 05:16 PM) The kopitiam styles of posting is certainly against R&R, no? repeat again, don't say like you and the rest of liverpool fans post quality stuffs here ... most of it also rubbish ...Just because no one bother hitting the few pages of kopitiam posting here doesnt mean they are not against R&R... I bet every single soul in this thread know which and which are essential for discussion and which and which are not. EG: etc sort of posting... if you hurt from those posts, either you press the report button or get away from this forum ... |

QUOTE(wilsonjay @ Jan 29 2009, 05:45 PM) Actually if you watch back the foul on him, you can feel why Vidic tend to do that... Vidic already got the space cover but yet that @sshole from Quito put a side tackling on Vidic without even got a chance to touch the ball, no foul on that guy. On top of that, that @sshole leaned his bloody face onto Vidic shoulder after he tackled Vidic to the floor. For normal reaction, surely we will push that face away from the shoulder, but unfotunately Vidic accidentally use his elbow instead of his hand to pushed that bloody face away. Lucky enough, justice prevail when Rooney curle home the winning goal and we are the 1st from England to win the title |

No seriously, instead of going off topic while flaming a particular individual, why not go off topic while addressing the post? Your posts are quite frankly no better than any of ours (take that as a compliment), so I don't see how you can go on about posting 'properly.' Do you give the same advice to your mates over the other thread?
Then, seriously this is a United thread. If you lot could spend 10 pages on Fyrekat's sexuality there and how LOL-naldo's a wanker, we could talk about FAHCTS all we want. |

No rights for other supporters except manu supporters?Never know that. Then, seriously this is a United thread. If you lot could spend 10 pages on Fyrekat's sexuality there and how LOL-naldo's a wanker, we could talk about FAHCTS all we want. As for your statement of anyone of here is better as a poster, I beg to differ. A lady over here know nuts about posting quality posts about football and go on posting kopitiam style of postings. Not surprising though with her spending most of her time posting at Kopitiam corner. And you call that better in terms of posting? As for giving advise, I did.And I even reported those off topics post at times. P.s: Guess its started again, eh? |
