I received a notification from Celcom too about this plan but can't seem to find it in their website.
Hmm.. I'm starting to wonder how the speed is like at 128kbps.... (snail...)
*
this one suitable for instant messaging or chatting.. also can be use to surf WAP pages such as facebook (mobile version), a perfect plan. it can be attached to postpaid line right? so we can YM on our handphones rclxms.gif

i dont mind to pay rm38 for unlimited gprs usage (either to surf on phones as well as on computer). brows.gif but it is better if they reduce the price to rm30 (rm1 per day) or less.

i have heard many good things about celcom bb..
worth the money?? what package u took??
*
well, if u need basic internet connection, celcom bb is a good choice.. since it is wireless, u can surf anyway, and it can be considered cheap too, plus celcom offer widest wireless broadband coverage in malaysia. the package from as low as rm50 per month (for below 26 years old). they also offer prepaid broadband. if u need more information, please refer to the existing thread about celcom broadband.

but for heavy downloader (movie, torrent, etc) i advice u to choose other isp. rolleyes.gif

but celcom bb cannot download from rapidshare, megaupload, etc  cry.gif

because celcom bb is using shared ip address.. that is why u cant download from rapidshare.. unless you subscribe rapidshare premium account

QUOTE(elfreakz @ Jul 6 2009, 11:48 PM)
i just got my celcom prepaid today..

its a celcom blue... now im confuse with the rate between blue and xpax.

basically i only use it for teman 20 or maybe 15pax... which one is better for this special contact?

and now suddenly i saw at the celcom blue website about the promotion exsclusive for celcom blue... 30 sms or 200 minute talk time... i was wondering reload RM30 but get only 30 free sms OR 200 free talk time???
*
if you only use for teman20 or 15pax, i suggest you to choose 15pax.. because

- 15pax can add non-celcom number too, while teman20 only for celcom number
- 15pax sms rates is half-cent to celcom, while teman20 is 1sen
- 15pax sms rates is 6sen to non-celcom, while teman20 cannot add non-celcom number
- 15pax call rates is 12cent per minit, while teman20 is 15cent per minit

so do your math biggrin.gif

but remember, call to non-15pax is damn expensive (escp for adjacent and non-adjacent call).. but call to non teman20 still being charge at a flat rates 45sen/min flat (20sec charging block).

yes, i've been at k.pilah and bahau before, celcom got 3G coverage at both town. this area is low density area, mean less user, so u should enjoy better speed at these area (based on my experience).

5+1

5 = up to 5 supplementary line
1 = 1 principal line (can be either CEP50, CEP250, etc)

call/sms/mms/video call from principal to supplementary line and vice versa is free*
call/sms/mms/video call between supplementary and supplementary line is also free*

*up to 40hours call and 2000 msg (for each line)

for principal line (CEP50, CEP250, etc) call rates/plan, u may refer celcom website

while for supplementary line, the plan is simple. there is no comitment fee (mean no minimum usage), but just pay monthly access fee rm5/month. the call rates is FLAT 30sen to any network, and 10sen per sms also to any network

i repeat again, 5gig is enough for ordinary internet surfing..

what i mean ordinary? like checking email, general website, blogging, social community (facebook, friendster), chat, instant messaging..

but its not enough if, u use it to download movie/torrent, streaming youtube excessively, etc.

i know some of you giving 'excuse' about heavy graphic, full flash website blah blah blah. but seriously, if u check ur usage, most of the bandwidth allocated actually has been used for 'other thing' and nothing to do with the heavy graphic or full flash website..

yes of course everyone dont like restriction, but this is 3G limitation. celcom do that for the sake of everyone. to make sure each of its user enjoy better internet connection. if 5gig is not enough then u can always choose other provider :-)

celcom call to sarawak very expensive have any celcom plan is cheapest ? ...may i know Celcom blue,S.O.X and U.O.X call rate ?
*
by assuming u make call to sarawak from peninsular

if you use celcom blue, 45sen/min either celcom or non-celcom number (but if in Teman20 - Celcom number only, its 15sen/min)

if you use uox and sox, 15sen/min either to celcom or non-celcom (if in 8pax - must be uox/sox number only, its 10sen/min)

if you use old xpax, 35sen/min if Celcom number, rm2.60 if non-Celcom (but if in 8pax - Celcom number only, its 15sen/min)

if you use new xpax, rm1.80sen either celcom or non-celcom number (but if in 15pax - can be celcom number or non-celcom number, its 12sen/min)

conclusion, sox/uox are the best..

what is the differences between "current charge" and unbilled charged? my unbilled charge keep increasing zzzz... but current charge still remain rm27.. sorry i'm new user..  blush.gif
*
current charge = your last recent bill (last month bill, waiting for payment - just ignore it if you already make a payment)
unbilled charge = your current usage (this month usage), its not billed yet. wait till the end of the month then celcom will summarize it all in this month bill.
