Is it back to normal?

I've been having 700-1000ms all day (daytime) with the best IP i can obtain. Sometimes playing at 3am even getting 700-800ms.

Sigh. The high ping started chinese new year.

Yesterday night I had some bad latency when logging (700-800) even with some good IP.

After a while it stabilized at around 550-600 which I consider "not so good" for my line. I usually manage to get something between 250 to 450 with a good IP.

I am staying very close to 1Utama, not sure if it's an area thinggy or not.

I thought that maybe it was a Blizzard thing, not so much of a streamyx thing since they put up a small patch as well as 4 battlegroups having severe latency problems.

The good thing was that raiding Naxx seems more stable now. It was annoying having over 150 fps in Naxx and getting DCed during boss fights.

Not sure, my guildies are mostly from Australia and NZ and they were playing fine.

Some from Singapore has also reported some lags recently, might be something with the cable again?

Yup, I'm using the best IP which normally i would get 300+ms ping, now I'm getting 1300++ ping. Something is going on here, don't thing it's Blizzard side.

Yeah, maybe. Some Oz guildies reported having some lag as well but mostly those who are with Internode. SG one, not frequent.

I'm just waiting out the CNY period. It's also raining heavily so that sometimes have an effect on the exchange.

Guys, do me a favor:

Open your command prompt and type:
ping us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com -n 1000

Or instead of the logon server, use your server's ip address (if you happen to know it).
EDIT: http://www.wowwiki.com/US_realm_list_by_datacenter
EDIT2: Ok, you can't ping Dragonblight directly apparently, damn Datacenter firewall.
EDIT3: Sigh, just ping us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com

This command will ping the server 1000 times, and from there we can see if we're just getting a lot of packet drops or just slow routing.

Paste the end result:

QUOTE
Ping statistics for 12.129.224.116:
    Packets: Sent = 10, Received = 8, Lost = 2 (20% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 316ms, Maximum = 403ms, Average = 327ms

This is an example, i'm going to ping 5000 times after this.

I think it's only a Klang Valley thing. At about 9am yesterday (or was it two days ago) nobody around my area had internet access (my bro checked their wifi *cough*).

TM 100 said that there was a technical issue around Klang Valley, but it got fixed on that day itself. Ever since then I've been getting very very bad connections.
