Hi, the joining part of DX Alto in the photo below seems can't hold tightly to support upper body. I wonder how it stand if Alto is carrying Armored parts. Any ideas how to address it?  rclxub.gif

I got the the same problem too on my DX VF-25G. I think a layer of super glue will fix the problem. Will try out later.

I think i have no luck on Macross toys.

Look at the photos below, the chest protection part somehow a bit too tight to fit into my 25-G chest and it's broken. (i just started playing this toy)
However, this problem does not exist in my 25-F. I think super glue supplier is getting rich already. Ozma armored probably is my last toy on Macross. No doubt that the toy design looks great...but....

It is very tempting bro.... otherwise i wont be so forgetful/ forgiveness and have decided to buy the armored version. biggrin.gif
Maybe I'm too use with the Transformers toy (you can drop few times on the floor but still look fine), therefore not get use to it.

This is probably a bit off topic, last week just got my Macross first generation anime DVD collection. It's Japanese voice-dub but with English sub..never thought that Lyn Minmay song, 'Watashi no Kare wa Pilot'/ My Boyfriend is a Pilot, is the same song sang by Ranka Lee from Macross Frontier! in part where she participated in Miss Galaxy biggrin.gif

It sure does bring some memories and I always have a crush with Minmay wub.gif

Yes same song......also Ranka's Ai Oboeteimasuka when she became "evil" sung by Lynn Minmay in DYRL? thumbup.gif

Oh and good news. My VF-11B in KL today! thumbup.gif Hopefully got time to pick it up later.

Not too bad la.. at least it is not obvious. Luckily super glue can create some miracle. rclxms.gif

Hi Wesley, sorry for the late reply. I am getting the DX super parts for RM350 or less. The seller would let me know once it arrives.

Some ppl have given 1s impressions. Seems there is a problem with loose heatshields dropping down to undeployed mode in battroid mode.

Hi Guys,

Can some of you whom have already built the 1/72 Alto Custom give me a hand with mine? I can't get the arms to fold back properly for Fighter mode! To slot into the connector at the back, the shoulders end up so far forward that the waist joint can no longer clip in. Even after dismantling chunks of it I still can't figure out what is wrong...

Hhheeelllpppp cry.gif

Attached Image
Pic of top, is the head tucked in correctly?

Attached Image
This is what the shoulder looks like when the forearm is connected to the clip at the back (I removed the arm from the joint)

Attached Image
Here you can see the tucked in head and waist joint. I've already check the neck plate, it can't go any forward.

potential prob of the VF-11B. The lower heatshield won't stay in place and lock so it slides down.

There something wrong in the pic description. If you click the link, they put VF1A stealth type with Super parts pic instead of VF19 pic.

Do the arms lock into place properly? There's a tab under the back plate that the arms can kinda 'click' into. Also, you did lock the two separate parts of the waist tightly together right?

That's the problem. If I secure the arms to the tab, the shoulders are so forward that I can't lock the waist (see the middle pic). There isn't enough space to close it. The waist hits the shoulders...

MY RVF-25 is the only one of my 4 kits that even has the slightest hint of that problem (waist and shoulders not fitting in fighter mode), but a bit of adjustment and I can transform it. I'm pretty sure they can't screw up an injection kit so badly, since its all from the same mold, which leaves the possibility that you've built a part wrongly (not trying to be rude here).

Would really love to help, but without seeing the actual thing, I can't really tell.
