1. is there by any chance i can get the 1/60 VF-25F here in KL? i mean off-the-shelf kinda thing..not the the pre-ordering...or is it that it's that limited that only pre-ordering would do?..and i'm not really that interested to buy online since i don't have the patience...

2. what is the price for it or the price range for it..

sorry for the stupid questions...i'm not a collector, so that explains my newbieness and this would be my first VF ever...after wishing it for 20 years...

I think the VF-25F movie edition should be a plenty. I got mine for about RM630. I'd say XL-shop should have them.. There's some forum members also selling (i think it was richard). Even the VF-25F Tornado messiah should be out next month or so... the original VF-25F might be the only one you need to search abit. Other than that shouldnt be too hard to find...

i really underestimated these VF figures because i saw alot of transformers settled in for quite an affordable range...i mean u can get takara tomy rotf optimus prime for around RM250 to RM300...so i thot these Macross collectibles shouldn't cost more than that since it's not as popular as TF..

i was so wrong....or maybe my lack of understanding of these collectibles (i don't even know what is the correct terms to addressed these things...i don't think its a toy tho) somehow shadows my perception towards em...

actually i don't really know...should i get VF-25 as my first VF?..the reason why i go for VF-25 is because it's still recent..so i thot the pricetag should be somewhat in line with the overpopulated TF collectibles...so if the VF already cost a fortune, i dont even dare asking how much the Yamatos line would cost....

damn..i've to wait for another 20 years....

can wait for the VF HI-METAL 1/100 scale line.. those are around 200++... i'd thought most people would want VF-1S roy focker as their first VF

The cheapest transformable VF out there now on the market should be Revoltech VF-1 series around RM110.

But be noted though, the transformation and posability might be tricky at some point.

I still like the revoltech version for its price and interesting concept of using revoltech joints to make a transformable mecha.

Looking forward Kaiyodo to use same or better revoltech ideas on other VFs (and Mospedea too)!

when i assemble the kit, put the decal along. OR after i finish assembling the kit, only then do i put on the decals?
1st time buy macross model kit...

u can do it whichever way u like.
but then I suggest applying decals after finish assembling.

know why? because in some areas you'll need to adjust the position of the decal to match the other decal on the other part. so it's advisable to do it after assembling

I thing its the same old mold of the 1/48. Nothing new or improvement. Its just another reissue with new packaging i suppose.

I think still got forumers selling the 1/48 Roy Focker in Steet Mart
not the reissue version

Ya man,
Did browse and the existing current scale 1/48 range from RM650 till RM750. I dont mind getting the new reissue if the price cheaper.
IMO must use the same mold as come out from the same company .. Never hv macross before as the price for this scale
Wanting the BIG and get the best price for it.
