http://www.pinoyphotography.org/forum/inde...p?topic=39483.0

calculated the price for all 3 lenses. only around 520 and 991 for all lens+set-up ring+case+hotshoe cover+ricoh lc1 without any tax+postage cost.

so, can i translate it as,

F/2.0 = blur background
F/8.0 = clear background

?? unsure.gif

You r correct.
But remember that using f/2.0 doesn't necessarily mean u will get bokeh for sure.
It depends also on where u "focus" also.
Playing with where u focus is another big step in understanding ur LX3's capabilities laugh.gif

to explain what exactly makes leica is a good lens, im not really capable of. u can ask all of the other sifus here abt the spec of a leica lens/camera. but lets take example on other common sense in our life. asadi slippers and crocs slippers, why crocs are more expensive? burberry and and echo park? jaguar and proton? see my point? quality. precision. durability. capability etc.

Ahaks glad it worked for you. But try to play around with the settings. lurk more around flickr and see their meta data (if possible) Thats the best way to learn in photography. Each settings needs to cater certain environment. I am also into street photography so i dont usually have the leisure of setting up tripods and long exposure.

Well there's a cheat code to a cleaner image but still using high iso. You can use Imagenomic's Noiseware to clean up noises generated by high iso.

Original Size

This picture is taken with iso 400 but a quick whip at Noiseware will drastically reduced the noises.

Never tried photoshop/corel 's noise reducer. Will look it. iA is nice when used at properly lit place. Once in low light environment it tend to warm up the color and bump up the iso. So manual is the best way to play around.

This is confirm not the Pandabase adapter. Pandabase adapter has short smaller section then follow by a very long larger section. The one being shown is almost the same one I got, with the wordings For Panasonic LX3 52mm...
