anyone got any idea where in KL can i get the Speck Candy Shell case? looking for something that looks ok & doesn't add too much bulk + provide some protection from a drop. + also to cover up a bit of scratching damage at the top from a recent drop (heart pain sia!)

@deodorant,
beavis68 wrapped his i3GS @ Low Yat and from what I see the person who wrapped it did a pretty good job. U might want to check with beavis68/neekun where they did the wrapping from.

If you are talking about wrapping with those 'plastic film', then it is cheaper at Digital Mall, section 14, PJ. However, the workmanship is at best 90% satisfactory(by my standards).

@PeeEl,
Yes I think it's wrapping of 'plastic film' but i'm not too sure cause I didn't get mine wrapped. It's not that expensive at LYP either, I think about RM60 *shrugs* It's definitely better than invisible Shield though if U asked me biggrin.gif

@jiro1986,
Warranty is NOT applicable on failed installations. Check out a v old thread regarding iShields and U may just find someone to help U put the iShield on.

what kinda material is that? RM60 is quite cheap since it's including workmanship.

anyway, just wrapped my 3G with SGP shield yesterday. tried IS previously and i can say it's much better than IS. the screen protector that comes with the package is superbly clear and the application process is much easier. (corners are easier to stick on)

That's why I chipped in. At Digital Mall, Section 14, it is only RM30 for the transparent film, front and back. At least that was the price when I had it done about 5 months ago. For those with patterns, if I remember correctly, it's RM10 more. So, it's worth making the trip there. But the caveat here is the workmanship.

I now have the Boduguardz on and if you apply nicely, it actually is a sight to behold, if I can use that descriptive sentence. Tried SGP shield but though easier to apply, not as durable as BG. Invisible Shield is very diificult to put on.

i guess SGP is less durable coz it's thinner? used to think IS is almost the same as BG so i opted for SGP. anyway, i do agree with the bolded sentence, it really is. biggrin.gif

WE tried 3 Product . Invisible Shield , Bodyguardz , SGP shield

For my experiences and complaint from customer.
Invisible shield will get " yellowish " after use for a period time.

Ya , SGP compare with BG , SGP is thinner but now less durable.

see the chart.

think it's on the 1F where all the mobile phone shops/stalls are (beside the escalator towards 2F). but IINM, the material is different from IS/BG/SGP. it's more like the normal skinning material used on normal phones. much thinner.
