3G iPhone Casing: Capdase ConXept Case for iPhone 3G (White)

Price: RM68 @ Machines

Package includes: ConXept Case, 1 x Hard Screen Protector (Anti Scratch, Unbreakable), Stand, Pouch

Rating: 9.5/10

Pros:
- Cheapest branded hardshell plastic case around (even silicone cases like Switcheasy Colors & Speck PixelSkin cost more)
- Removable bottom cover for docking purpose
- Slim (slimmer than Griffin iClear)
- Glossy finish
- Protects chrome bezel
- Cut out for showing Apple logo (with logo protection film)
- Availability of 'port' on case for lanyard
- Comes with plenty of freebies : Hard SP, Stand, Pouch

Cons:
- No protection for Power/Sleep button, Silent/Mute button & Volume Rocker
- Expose a lil' of the chrome bezel near charging/docking port
- Inside front part of case is bare plastic, only the back part is rubber coated. (Doesn't bother me as phone's back part is protected with Capdase BodiFender)
- Doesn't fit i3G with IS/BG (tried on a friend's)
- Glossy finish surface is more prone to scratches

Comments: I thought my previous iClear was the best case and this is even better (in terms of looks & thickness). Been looking for Incase Slider for sometime but couldn't get it locally. I'm fond of white casings and was thinking of getting the PixelSkin until I bump into this one. It comes in variety of colors (White, Black, Red, Blue) and the staff at Machines Midvalley is kind enough to let me test each of the color on my phone (even get to test PixelSkin). IMO, white looks the best on black i3G.

For that price, you get a case with removable bottom cover for docking (similar branded cases with such feature costs RM100 & above), hard case protects against drops, plenty of useful freebies and looks awesome in glossy white finish (using it with a Golla pouch so it's less prone to scratches, hopefully). smile.gif

I got my mophie juice pack 1800mAh for RM340. My brother has stock. And seriously it is pretty useful for those who are a heavy user on their iPhone.

Yes a little bit bulky but bearable but you dont need to have it stuck on to your iphone all the time. It is also a great back protector as well.

Here is my review :

The best part of the juice pack that it is clipped on the back of your iPhone and is slim enough to carry it anywhere - as it charges my iPhone. It seems like I could go on for about 3-5 days on an island somewhere with no electricity and the only thing that is being charged is my iPhone using the Mophie Juice Pack. The built for this Mophie pack is also very solid & has a very nice finishing - only setback I see is that it is pretty difficult to slide it out other than that it serves it purpose very well.

I bought my Mophie 1800 mAh for RM340 (its cheaper than the retail price the US is selling - US retails at USD 99.95) from my brother who sells them.

3G iPhone Casing: 4Mac Aquacase for iPhone 3g, Comes with different colors like blue, red, white, pink and smoked. Mine is Smoked color

Price: RM79 @ Machines / RM69 from a forumer here called 'alexnek'

Package includes: 4Mac Aquacase, 1x Screen Protector

Rating: 9.5/10

Pros:
- Full protection around the chrome
- Stylish, Make your iPhone looks like diamond back in different lighting
- Affordable
- Scratchless
- Made by polymer plastic
- Good for covering bubbles behind your phone if u stick protector like IS/BG/Bodifender . You wont know its there
- Slip inside your pocket easily, not like normal silicon case
- Fit nicely on your phone like condom, wont feel its loose

Cons:
- Prone to oily hand
- Thats all i can think for now, will update if i found any

Comments:
So far this is the coolest casing i ever purchased, it make your phone looks like diamond phone especially under any lightings. People will wonder what phone you're using if u put this casing on. Very Grippy and very nice to hold compared to my iClear case..Reason i bought this case is because i stick the Capdase bodifender on my phone and it has alot of bubble appearing behind it and looks very ugly and very obvious on see trough case, but after changing to this casing it filters off the bubble with the Diamond effect and u wont notice its there. The guy at Mac City told me that, if you guys plan to get this case, if possible stay away from white/transparent color as it will turn yellowish in the long run. The smoked color Suits the black iPhone very nice, but there are other colors for u to choose from. Conclusion is i give this casing 2 thumbs up!! Hope it don't disappoint me in the long run. hehe rclxms.gif

PS : If you are interested in this casing, Just go to Mac City 1Utama and test it with no obligation!! haha

Hi pelvin, isn't this similar if not same as your iClear? Why do you want a change? Because of the so-called diamond effect or something else? Might contact you later for the iClear later. Cheers.
