QUOTE(clawhammer @ Apr 2 2009, 12:43 PM) I bought the invisible shield already but had a super hard time putting it on. Currently I still have bubbles all over you're advised to spray as much application solution on it & the phone should you want to adjust/move the sticker over & over again but once it's dried up you won't be able re-do anymore.anyway, it's normal to have some (not a lot) bubbles after application. mines goes off around 3 days after the application. good luck. |

Thanks bro and as for now, the bubbles are lesser compared to last night when I first did it so we'll see how it goes. Now I tend to understand why they sell in a pair of two because the first time we do it (for noobs like me), we're most likely to do it totally wrong and get everything screwed up.

@clawhammer:
you got yourself an IS or BG? IS sold in single pack. @lycan87: this issue has been brought up lotsa times. there are different opinions when coems to both. some say IS has orange-peel effect & goes yellowish after some time etc. but hey, people are still using them. IMO, BG is more worth as it's only RM99 for 2-in-1 pack, good for those who tend to mess up on their first attempt or might need one for spare in the future. IS is selling for RM65-80 per set. |

The video they provided on youtube looks too easy. And the solution they bundled with doesn't really help. Probably use soap water better next time.Anyway, for all the corners, if you can't get it to stick, use nail clipper and jst cut the pointed edge away. He! He! By the way, I am using Bodyguardz. I just got myself a More casing. Paid around RM110+ for it. The outlook is good but I think the edges not really strong. As I have Bodyguardz on and tried to lift the casing to allow snug fit, the cloth material peels off. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Added on April 2, 2009, 4:06 pm QUOTE(d_lai_309 @ Mar 1 2009, 12:33 PM) Guys... u all know where to get this ah? Now I tend to understand why they sell in a pair of two because the first time we do it (for noobs like me), we're most likely to do it totally wrong and get everything screwed up. I also got myself the Invisible Shield. Actually need to spray maximum on the shield itself (not the phone) to make it easier to install. I had one issue where a bit of dirt got caught, took me a heck of a time to remove the dirt before I could re-apply the skin.I find that the skin itself stretches abit too much and causes the alignment to go wrong easily if you're not careful when installing it. As for the corners, I just pushed them down every 10 minutes and eventually they stuck. The skin helps with less fingerprints on the phone but is prone to collecting dust particles on the sides. Even aligning the front piece with the border doesn't make the home button opening fit perfectly (mine is a little opened at the bottom of the button). The skin has bumped-like texture all around and isn't smooth. So it takes the shine out of the phone's original surface especially on the back. But I'm fairly happy with it because it has more grip and does a good job of protecting against accidental scratches. |

You're right and I should've dipped the whole piece of stuff with water before I start, lol. The corners aren't well covered as well and they expand a bit too much in some areas. |

2G/3G iPhone Casing: Speck Candyshell
Price: RM 138 Rating: 7/10 Pro: 1) Feels very solid and smooth 2) Easy to install 3) Front part of case (the mouth) has silicon lining so you can safely put/ drop the phone facing down Cons: 1) Not easy to remove 2) Difficult to touch buttons (volume and on/ off) 3) Difficult to access the vibrator switch Comments: Comes with a screen protector and cloth. I think this is a solid case which provides a good amount of protection. Not recommended for people who change their casings often. QUOTE(teikwing @ Mar 28 2009, 10:44 PM) @teiwing..Sorry late reply... Cant find my post SGP Shield is better than IS/BG. I post the comparison chart here just for review. ![]() ![]() Why SGP shield is better than IS/BG. The main reason is the front sides .it have the Hard Coated Optical Enhancement Film for LCD It can enchance the colour and more clear if compare with other. IS/BG only use the transparent for whole iPhone. You can googgle it or youtube then will know more. |
