damn.. so another option. i might just take off the back cover.. cuz i believe front cover still can remain.... u using griffin iclear too?

i've never tested IS with iClear before (tore off my IS & using iClear back). but from what i heard from reviews, most hard cases won't fit on iPhones with IS on. you might wanna google more on that. or you can opt for soft silicone case like SwitchEasy Colors. not sure Capsule Rebel or Neo will fit with IS on though.

i would advise you to keep the IS on and use SGP case plus use some pouch like Moshi iPouch. best combination i've came across. smile.gif

i bought this today: http://theappleblog.com/2009/01/13/power-s...-for-iphone-3g/

price: Rm 128.

looks good. its thin, almost weightless, came with one anti glare and one clear plastic screen protector.
the material is plastic, but it has a rubbery feel to it for grip. and it's only 1mm thick.

just bought switcheasy colors for my bro and my iphone, RM70 each, noticed that it attracts lints especially the black color.

the rubber is nice to hold and one have to take out the iphone to clean constantly as i found some dust/lints trapped inside the casing even though i wiped the iphone clean b4 put on this rubber case. the screen protector came with the package is pretty good quality as compared to those cheap type selling by most hp stores.

i will rate 7/10 for this casing.

Still waiting eagerly for my gold color incase slider case rclxms.gif

the lint/dust issue is the reason i've sold off mine. u gotta use IS to use the casing so that those particles won't scratch the phone. and i got the Stealth Black too, those lint/dust can get really obvious.

however, like what you said, the quality is much much better than those RM20-30 ones. with the given headphone & port cover + 2 screen protectors, it really worth the money. smile.gif

P/S: where u getting your Incase from? price?

From your link, they mentioned :

1. Air Jacket had left numerous scratches along the sides of the chrome bezel. And they were not light nicks; the scratches were deep and numerous enough that only a thorough buffing with Brasso could remove.

2. Also, the rubberized finish proved to be quite susceptible to be scratched off, and is simply a coating over what is really a clear Air Jacket. After only five days, the rubberized finish had chipped off at all four corners of the Air Jacket.

And most importantly, For a $34.95 product, the build quality of the Air Jacket is simply disappointing.

Do post the outcome of your case after a week or two to see if it's really disappointing.

it depends on u.... but if u wanted to find iphone screen protector, u can always pay a visit at machine or switch... they sell the screen protector for rm48 (last time i bought it... around 5 months ago...) and i think there are also regular phone seller in klang valley selling the cheap screen protector for a mere price that i bought....

and try looking at garage sale in here... ive seen some forumers selling the screen protector for a very good price...

good luck!
