something flash into my mind recently... can we use ad-hoc to transfer files via wifi? so far i know home media supports UPnP file transfer using wifi.. is there any other method to do so??

i get msn live messenger from the download!! in the phone. simply go to downlaod!! then refresh the catalog list in application. after that u may find fring as well as windows live. juz download it and use it for free

fring can integrate many IM together and login as 1 account. eg, if u hv yahoo messenger, msn messenger and skype, u simply apply 1 fring acc then u can sign in all out those messenger.. then view it in ur hp.. however msn live only can view msn lo.. juz like wat u use in pc.. juz a simpler ver

i encounter ur no1 problem before. i try to refresh the catalog list using other wifi connection.. then i solved the problem. no idea y occur such error.. but worth to try my method. not guarantee 100% working la..
regarding to ur 2nd question, do u open too many background application? restart ur phone and it may help. sometimes some application use too much ram or phone memory then will get such error.. or u try to clear up something in ur phone..

the phone ald preinstalled a few theme. once u change the cover the chip will tell the phone which theme to choose. however, u can turn off this feature in the setting.

ur welcome bro , the new firmware has several bugs.. it's still not perfect yet.. u can uninstall 3rd party theme from app.mgr right now.. in case u have noticed it.. previous firmware doesnt allow u to uninstall 3rd party theme. be careful of phone hang.. coz i encounter randomly crash when i unlock keypad.. hopefully nokia will release new firmware asap

nope.. i zoom pic almost instantly.. there is no lagging when u zoom ur pic..

chiamin23: radiation very high? lol.. if want to prevent radiation better dun use any device equipped with microwave .. this includes wifi internet, wimix, fm radio station and many many more.. our lives ald full with microwave.. so if let's say the radiation is too dangerous to our body.. i guess we all have to move to forest..lol.. by the way, juz try not to use hp so often if u worry about the radiation..

i had no issue with the star key.. perhaps is the hardware malfunction? let's hope it's not..

i guess ur buying ap set which import from some other country. so in this case if u wan to use chinese, u gotta make sure u flash ur product code to malaysia or singapore region using NSS. once u had ald flash ur product code please upgrade ur firmware again.. it should be ok right now.

the fm transmitter is doing decent job.. if u place the phone more than 1 or 2 meter away from radio antenna the sound quality will be very poor. for lagging issue, i think n79 perform quite well in the menu.. even when i use handy shell and switch between application it doesnt lag at all..

To do so, u 1st need to find product code of malaysia region.. and flash it using NSS. here is the link. download it..

there is a place show ur current code.. replace it with the new code.. after that flash ur firmware again

if u switch off it can clear all the cache stored on the phone memory. when the cache become larger and larger then the probability to hang ur phone will definitely increase.

agreed with heero.. this thread is dying.. i used to be active here.. but then since not many ppl share their thoughts.. end up i juz become passive in this thread. for that download problem, it may due to some wireless connection will block the access of "download". try using somewhere else wireless connection.

if connection not blocking then i dunno wat;s the problem. sometimes i get tat error too.. i juz try with other wifi and sometimes it works. access point in uncategorized is used for web browsing and "download". If u set wifi as ur 1st priority then it will always search for the corresponding wifi. if cant detect then it will switch to 2nd priority and so on.

i wish nokia could update the current 11.049 firmware.. it still buggy in certain extend. and sometimes my phone get hang when i try to unlock the phone..

sometimes u juz connected to the wireless lan only.. however, if the moden do not connect to isp, then u cant surf web. it will prompt no gateway reply. it's like a wireless connection without internet access..

haha tyty..by the way, i read on some forum and they claim tat n79 has the latest firmware. 11.053. so far i still cannot verify is it true or not. searched google before but return no result. perhaps hvn official release yet

there is no way to remove ur word from dictionary wor.. perhaps a soft reset will do. i never try it before..
