i dare not correct you...me myself more newbie.. rolleyes.gif  btw wht lens good to substitute kitteh 1870? I heard tammy1750 is nice? any other good lens?

The reason i want to replace kitteh 1870 is because image not sharp enough..colour nt vivid enough...so so bokeh only... Or maybe because my skill too newb? Juz giv some comment...harsh comment i would also accept  icon_rolleyes.gif

u can choose

tamron 17-50mm
sigma 17-70 mm
sigma 24-70
CZ 24-70
minolta 17-35mm

IMO, kitlens can get sharp image, but u need to use F8 and smaller than that.. thats how my kitlens work la..

But still, I doubt it'll work when you are shooting indoor. That's when big aperture lenses comes in handy where you don't need to stop down that much to get sharper image smile.gif
