just back from hatyai last week. during the highway traveling time, i still manage to use umobile online and speed test... well of cos some area speed drop and roam to maxis... but i already impress by the coverage... almost 80% i can said that the PLUS highway area no problem with umobile internet. No signal when near border only.

ps : digi improve a lot also...which out of my expectation as well.

Well.. Just have to buy from other telco then
*
just do a simple draft comparion among u58 no contract and outright buy a ip5. compare to maxis value 1 + ip5 +1 year contract... i compare u58 cause my usage was max only 2gb a month and i am calling for around 200-300 min a month

umobile :
u58 X 12 month = Rm696
ip5 = 2199

total TCO = 2895

maxis , ivalue 1 contract 1 year :
phone : 1699
ivalue 1 = rm100 x 12 = rm1200

total TCO = RM2899....

forget about the tax...

i think nothing much diff ..... but at least maxis offer extra free call + sms... guess this info help.... if i miss out any pls let me know...

personal experience, using maxis 3g and umobile at pulau pangkor. yes umobile using maxis tower so wat...when no signal will roam to maxis 2g..so when i at pangkor...i use maxis online , umobile still can make call cause under 2g mode...but no internet lo... so end up i share my hotspot to umobile phone.

luckily pulau pangkor maxis speed still can get up to 3mbps...

*

ok. ty^^ Btw, do you know any Umobile store at Selangor provides microsim service cuz I do not want cut sim.

And anyone knows whether I can get a Umobile no at IOI Mall Puchong? Ty^^
*
umobile they don hv microsim, they only hv normal sim / nano sim, cause they think using normal can anytime cut to multisim, save them for keep stock so many diff type. u goto service center they will ask you what sim ur phone using, end up is they will use normal sim cut for you free.
