QUOTE(IvanDass @ Mar 6 2009, 01:19 AM) Hey guys, always had some questions about Proton's CPS technology, and thi seems like the right place to ask them. I hope you guys don't mind. 1) I've heard that the CPS engines are quite rev-happy... Is this true and if it is, how does it translate into everyday driving? Good. Maybe because it suits my driving style. 2) What kind of fuel economy do you get out of these engines? Full tank 50 liter give me 560km. Thats with lots of revving/redlining. 3) How do you rate them in comparison to Proton's older Mitsubishi sourced engines? Never drove a 4G18 before.. Thanx guys! QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Mar 6 2009, 07:41 AM) yes that's right. The piggy should be able to do the job. But I dunno what piggy they recomend to u, to me I'll go for Haltech Interceptor as it work well during close loops and able to control your ignition timing. Some ppl claim Unichip able to do as what Haltech Interceptor does, but I would rather go for product that R3 is using. But haltech is too expensive, and I don't plan to mod until that extend. Standalone come into picture when you've done major mod on your engine internal and running on seriously high HP. QUOTE(lordragos @ Mar 6 2009, 10:22 AM) more people start to change absorber la this year.. sure got a lot of $$$ even in this economic slump.. hehehe.. After 1 year standard abs usually start making weird noises.. |

QUOTE(R.Y.D.E.C.K @ Mar 6 2009, 12:23 PM) U see after i post then eujinee come tembak me old man again hahaha....Tein is quite good infact, quite soft when couple with stock shocker. I'm using that perviously then sold off to eujinee as i feel dizzy even not so bumpy, secondly it too low for me. After all it's consider quite comfortable for sport spring. Performance wise is good and no doubt about that. Added on March 6, 2009, 1:14 pm QUOTE(sphiroth @ Mar 6 2009, 12:28 PM) I prefer e-manage rather then NEO. More low profile and can use laptop to tune.. yes the emanage are very much low profile and more controlling point compare to AFC Neo which Emanage has 256point (hi and low throttle) while AFC Neo 32 point. AFC Neo can tune on the spot while Emanage got to plug in the laptop, so if u wanna do on road tuning with wideband sensor then emanage will be very difficult, unless the wideband gadget like Innovate LM2 that able to store data then different story.Eibach is really expensive ler If i'm not wrong the shop that i always go here is selling RM750 for the Eibach Prokit. Added on March 6, 2009, 1:17 pm QUOTE(sphiroth @ Mar 6 2009, 12:41 PM) Emanage or eibach? Last time emanage about 1.2k while eibach is 800++. have u been to N1? My mechanic always go there.BTW zen, any palce to recommend to install the piggyback? This post has been edited by zenwarlord: Mar 6 2009, 01:21 PM |
