Stock rims are like at least 8kg each. Even Lenso Samurai SC01 also 7kg yet they claim superlight. What a load of rubbish...

did u weight ur rims before buying? Samurai SC01 is 7kg for 15' size...i'm shocked for a claim that says its a lightweight.

lordragos, sorry to hear tat. accidents do happen. see can knock knock back a bit. scratches, if not deep, can still remove with polishes. if can feel with ur finger nail tips, then need to respray liao.

Added on March 2, 2009, 8:20 pmoh ya, just a quick note. Pro-RS is having a 10% + free delivery nationwide for its steel hose brake kits. WAJA i think its comes down to about RM230 after 10% off and its free delivery anyway. last time i remember buying for same price + rm10 for postage.

sure la performance mod...i dun believe in paying more to add weight onto the car. The waja is heavy to begin with. Need to shed some weight added into the car such as amp and 12' sub.

dats y i dun add skirting or spoiler..add weight.

i can't afford the real SSR Type C. Those are like 4.5k and they are featherlight. 3.9kg nia each. dang... dats 4 packs of sugar.

the SSP Type C replica fr taiwan is 5.1kg and i only need to top up RM800. Belum nego with the shop yet...Nego kao kao maybe drop a bit.

i soundproof the door...not much different...maybe cheap one..lol...coz most of the noises came from the window....so is wind noise.... ...maybe wanna try better material... ...but closing door much solid den ever before...

i think its not the rubber seal also...coz from what i observe when driving....most of the sound came from the windows...if u add thicker rubber, the sound still come from the windows... ....some cars treated the windows with soundproofing material, hence reduce windnoise and passerby car/motorbike...and the quality of the window does plays a part also...

maybe can try this window soundproof..but duno whether its available in malaysia...   if really got then the wind noise will be greatly reduced...and motobike sound....

How much is the gad lowered spring? Can see improvement even if use with std abs? I dun wanna go adjustable... that way is poison.

Anyone heard of Accumat sound proof? Saw the material at one shop which consist of 2 layer stick together. According to the salesman, its better because save time to install rather than using 2 separate layer. 1 layer is to absorb hi freq while the other for low freq. But forget to ask the price..

1) I've heard that the CPS engines are quite rev-happy... Is this true and if it is, how does it translate into everyday driving?
Yup...this is true...if u check out the last 2-3 page u can check out the dyno graph which sphiroth done...power till 7k rpm with mild mod la..

2) What kind of fuel economy do you get out of these engines?
50 liter = rm90 = 630km highway/520km on city

3) How do you rate them in comparison to Proton's older Mitsubishi sourced engines?
much better during pick up and rev happy ..
