well if you wanna send your contacts to the sim card. then you can just mark each contact and click more>>add to>>SIM

but in your sim card you will have limited space. and also it does not store things other than name and number. if i remember correctly.

i dont think its possible. all the new phones allow so much information to be stored under each contact. all of which cant be stored on the sim cards. so most phones default is set to save straight onto phone memory.

so you have to save to phone first then transfer across to your sim from there.

hahaha yeah pretty much. some programs might be available to convert the backup files of the contacts to become compatible with other phones. not sure about that though.

but SE phones will be able to read the backups of other SE phones.

yeah there are always improvements to be made. maybe there are issues of patents and that they cannot use certain things. one of my favorites was my old O2 phone on windows mobile. you just start typing any phone number and it will try to match it to any phone numbers saved in your phone. so cool.

ok. about the format. its difficult to say. even coreplayer cannot play a lot of formats which is really quite irritating. but yeah. what to do. the best option i think is to do a conversion. look for the software "any video converter" and convert it into something that can be played. like flv. or mpeg. or something like that. should be ok for the most part. but even that is not perfect.

when you go online and there will be a blinking globe thing in the status bar at the top. just click the globe. and it will show the SSID that you are connected to. it will also show how much data is being/has been transferred.

not sure what the problem is for your phone. maybe its the steps or maybe just the filename. below is screenshots of my steps. i use default tones so i dont have music. i just dumped two songs from my laptop. one is WMA and one is MP3.

well it must be an issue with the file type. what file type are your music files? mp3? wma?

are you using the wifi on your phone to download the googlemaps? when i dl it no problem. it might also just be a server error. try again tomorrow.

emails from the exchange server? you mean through POP? just go to messaging and add email account. if you get a lot of mail just use the blackberry feature.

i dont think anyone uses the GPS enabler here. i dont think it is even in production anymore.

something like this happens to me when i start up my phone. it will start up and show the loading bar. but will load all the way until 75% and stay like that until i press some button. dun really know the cause. so strange.

just go into messaging and click settings and it lists which ones you want and just go to email and delete the account. becareful. last time i deleted the email it deleted all the ones on my server too. bleh.

@albedo - do you mean the one that when you choose the contact to send there is that short list of contacts you can select?
