hmm. thats a good question. but i dont think we can. i think its only when you turn off the phone that it restarts.

Hey guys & girls. its been a while since i posted on this site. but i thought i might drop by and what not. also i had a dream and in the dream i had my phone in my pocket and i was in the water (went white water rafting this weekend..i think its related) so i freaked out and what do you know its working just fine. i was so happy in the dream since my phone worked haha. too bad G900 is not a real waterproof phone.


heheh. good to know. i used it a few times. but sometimes writing a message ends up sending to inbox so many times because it doesnt fully load the next screen or something liek that so i press send again and again haahhahah. i stopped using opera mini already. i think the stock one is pretty good.

well its probably just when you bought it probably. when you update the phone using SUES it wont change the region. i dont think at least.

send it back for warranty at sony ericsson since you say its thorus set. like jackoz above. and should be good.

DAMN. thats so long. looks like those guys are slacking. haha. i guess the main reason is because there might not be enough G900's so maybe they dont have the parts.


well it depends on usage. and also things like 3g or wifi. and all that stuff. im not a heavy phone user so my battery can last up to 4 days. i recommend using the light on the side to check if you have missed calls or sms. instead of pressing the buttons and lighting up the screen.

um. mms & sms diary is pretty cool if you dont have that yet. opens sms damn quickly. other than that i dont really have many apps. open screen capture is cool too.

dunno much about aftermarket OS for G900. as for the lag and freeze times. i hope you have updated your phone. if its a serious issue then i think its probably the hardware side. for me phone is ok. not so laggy but lag lah still as for freezes maybe 1 time a month or less. if yours is AP set then this could be the issue. if you do find some sort of alternate os please let us know. seems very interesting.

as for the camera. i havent experienced this before. you are the first person to bring it up i think. maybe you can try to clean the cover from the inside. could be some sort of residue.


the flash is pretty useless. unless you take a picture of something like 1-2 feet away.....plus everyone ends up looking like a ghost. hahah.

welcome to the club. although this club has slowed down abit. everyone already jadi pro at taking care of their phone hehe.

about your problem. i had this type of problem before when i was taking photos the flash didnt work. so i used all the apps that have flash. like torch, video camera and camera and it appeared that only the camera didnt work. but after i turned it on in vid cam mode. the flash was repaired. strange.

hahah. well good to know its still working. but its quite sad that UIQ has slowed down/died. last month i read in a magazine that some SE phone might be coming out with UIQ again. so im confused as to whats going on.

aw man. another ap set crash. thats why i hate ap sets. i never trust the shop always say its the customers fault. blehhhhh. well try take your phone back and bring it to another store. and then if thats also expensive bring it to sony service center hopefully it will be cheaper who knows. otherwise you could sell it online or something to someone willing to fix it. last time on ebay i saw a bunch of people selling broken phones strange... good luck bro. sorry to hear that about your phone.

well they are probably just open up the phone. blow on the chipset. then close again . did you send it back again? if it keeps having problems like this then ask for a replacement lah.

i think you can get a replacement. its an ori set? well if you keep sending back and have problems i think they will replace it. i never done it. but im sure they have something like this.

as long as its still under warranty. so take it there as soon as possible and ask about it. also if you have the warranty manual go through it. and there should be a replacement clause or something.

yeah the price i put above is for ori.... i dont trust AP set. yeah for AP should be around the price that you mentioned. might be around 650-700 or something like that i think.

@pad11. advice? be patient. the phone will seem slow for first time symbian/touch screen users. and make sure you close the programs after you open them. this slows down the phone. and eats up battery.
