Alkt,
Continue from dog food thread, I also think to leave him alone from 8.30am to 6pm. Curently, he is at my mother house which is quite troublesome to always go to pick him up after work. Cause at mother house they always feed him junk food, and give anything he want. No teaching at all hence making him more n more naughty liau. At her hse he is being treated like king. At my hse, i always press him cause wznt him to learn to be obidient.
You can left your puppy at home while you're working but I would advise you to get him a play pen instead of caging him all day when you're not at home. You can always put his cage inside play pen. With this he got more space to roams instead of sitting inside the cage wait you to come back from home. This is what I did with my puppy last time when I need to let her stay at home while I went to class. I never like the idea of caging them inside a cage thus I always go for play pen. Not to say cage training is not good but I just dont like the cage with bar step like what most people buy. I prefer the type of cage which they could stay inside comfortably without thinking need to put their paws in between the bar just to make sure their legs doesn't fall down and get hurtContinue from dog food thread, I also think to leave him alone from 8.30am to 6pm.
