Yep, I am dealing with him, and he assured me that his margins are very thin, its very hard for him to move from that price. I've asked around shops in Digital Mall, Midvalley and Lowyat... So far they're quoting around RM1.1-1.2k for a Garmin 205W GPS unit... So i think the prices I've quoted from the seller are quite competitive already..!!

His quote: 2 -5 units = RM850.. 6-9 units = RM800... 10 units above = RM750.. Plus, he's throwing in a free screen protector as well as a sweetener.!

I'll make some further enquiries over the weekend to see if his group rates are the most competitive, and will let you know.. Do join us with the bulk purchase if you can.

In a few months, I am sure you may be able to get it for slightly cheaper... just like how handphone prices, laptop prices, etc all fall gradually... But then there will be new models, etc etc... So my advice is if you think its right for you at this point in time, just come in at the group rates. I daresay you'll get amongst the better prices out there.

When will you know if you're sourcing your unit from the States or if you're joining the group buy?

One or two peeps on the group buy list have been asked to be put on KIV... Conservatively we're looking at 3-4 buyers for now.. Need another 2-3 fresh buyers to bump it up to 6 buyers @ RM800.!! Will update the list in due course.!

The original mat given by Honda is not good enough?

They just don't want to dirty and spoil the original mat. Double layer is better than single layer.

Yea, it's mainly 'cos the mat is black in color, when dirt, small lil pebbles and dry leaves get stuck in the original mat.. it looks really dirty. Plus whenever you take it out, cos there's velcro underneath it.. over time it'll wear out. Another reason would be when you rest ur heel on the centre part, it will eventually wear the fabric there.. so yup, with the coil mat.. it'll sort out this problem (in a cheaper manner)

Hi guys, finally I have some time to cope up with you guys. Sorry guys couldn't get connected as much really have to work harder to be an owner of NHC. If only I could make it that day on the UOTT but I was way too busy and exhausted with my job. On whether you should join us on your group purchase, I think the wisest to do is to look at your available finances and prioritise what you need... If there's a need, you don't want to wait, and you want to get a good deal, then why not join us? If not, future group purchases can always be arranged... No promises, but we'll definitely help you get the numbers you need if we can.. Myself and sysh will be glad to hook you up with the dealers if you need to arrange any group purchases in future.!

If finances are not an issue, then heck, just join us in this group purchase!

My finances is just nice only no extra income or extra for anything else but upon getting the NHC it'll definitely be my priority of anything therefore investment would be made majority on my NHC. I think there is definitely a need for the mat as the point is strongly pointed out by sysh already on the previous post. About the GPS I have to admit that I am a road blind but currently considering about it as the GPS is really a good deal now from the group purchase just that it's quite an amount from my pocket.

I understand and fully appreciated that you guys will definitely help us out for the next arrangement and such but I wouldn't want to trouble you all that much I was thinking if I am able to join the group then it might create less hassle in the future. Will it be a little weird if I bring home the mat without having the car first?

hahaha.. tat's wat i'm thinking to.. havent got the car but bought the mat ade.. at first i was thinking whether to join the group purchase on the mat and lock but havent got my car so a bit dificult to join.. who knows my SA agree to offer so no need to buy it outside.. as for the GPS it's indeed a good deal but due to budget constraint i'm thinking to get it after my trips and bonus in June.. so shall contact u then..
