Hey all.. for those interested,
Andy (Sebaver) has managed to get us a good deal on the pedal locks at GLS Auto, USJ 7.

1. Locktech (as seen in the pic above) = RM380 nett
2. Aorto Lock = RM320 nett (though I can't confirm whether it's the "Pro Series" or the "Premium Series". I'll call them tomorrow.

Let me know if you want to install it as I'll be doing it this Saturday.

I'll join the UOTT this friday @ 9pm... hope to see more HC owners this time smile.gif I'll dropby a while due to traveling early the next day.
See Ya!

btw, Andy, went to GLS done for the AutoLock for RM120.. at the same time the double lock was not available at that time. it's good that you got us the RM380 deal. this price is worthwhile i guess!

Scott, I heard the brand "LockTech" is more famous in the market. However, i see it both with my own eyes during my visit to GLS, Aorto Lock seems having the same function! smile.gif Let us know your decision smile.gif

Hey larry.!! Wow, you went missing after your friend's wedding huh.!? haha..

Well, you decide on whichever lock.. smile.gif I think its a DAMN good deal. I got my Aorto Lock for RM450... If you guys can get at RM320.. That's a really good price.!!! Sigh, i feel so cheated now.. =(

So far I'm satisfied with my Aorto brake pedal lock... The LED can serve as a "warning" to potential thiefs that they'll gonna have to expend quite a fair bit of effort if they wana steal my ride.!! tongue.gif

Hi guys finally I'm able to spend some time updating through the thread. So sorry for the delay of the design Scott and being invisible in this thread sweat.gif I've been extremely busy over the month and still the ball is rolling like crazy!! I wonder if it's because of the recession that's why everyone is advertising doing more promo? Well anyway about the UTT tomorrow night I'll try my best to make it as usual and if there is some spare time tonight I'll 'again' try to come out with some design sweat.gif notworthy.gif

Before I forget, here is the Coke music video and TVC that I'd mentioned earlier. I believe some out you had already seen it or heard the radio ad. Do watch in high quality and give some comment. Ps. I am not the uploader though laugh.gif

Cool. Btw, did you check my post on the Locktech an Tru-Lock that I saw at Brothers @ Kelana Jaya? I think it's probably an older version (without the Y-Socket), but it's going for RM99 (as of last weekend, I saw 1 unit each)

1" is not a much different, just 1/2" at the left n right. U can try to go for 14".

Just to confirm, the wiper size for NHC is 24/15, not the old City's size of 24/14.

1" might be 0.5" left and right but on the 'real estate' of our windscreen, it's quite a bit! Just get the correct size and it'll be super duper.

Which one are you planning to get? and when?
I'm going to scrutinise both locks on Saturday before making a decision. I like the LEDs on the Aorto Lock, but I've got to see the overall built quality of both. Hopefully both have the ignition cut function though smile.gif

Aiyah...no one said not okay... If you want to follow original size that came with the car, then get 15", if you want to put 14", also can.

As a matter of fact, I just bought and installed new wipers. Dyno silicone wiper. Didn't like the stock rubber wiper. Functions terribly in heavy rain. But I cannot find 15" Dyno ones, so bought 14" instead. Didn't want to spend on PIAA silicone wipers, too expensive (24" - RM130+, 15" - RM90+ @ Eneos One U)
