There's a lot which lectures don't teach. I'm just learning as well.

Is there any 3.5mm or 1/4" jack that mounts on the casing itself?

gotta dig around.

The mounted on casing parts were scarce last time I was sourcing them on local streets.

Just bring your 3.5mm jack and ask them for it. They either have it or they don't.

Holla,

I need some suggestion here, i was wondering if I could built a headphone selector to allow 2 of my frequenly used headphone to connect at all times. I do not need both to output, i just need them to be plugged in and by using a toggle switch, I can select which of the headphone I would like to hear at one time.

additional thoughts;
-Would the level or volume or SQ will be affected?
-Can I run it passively or do i need an active circuit?
-Or other alternative just to get one readily made tongue.gif

looks good.

Just remember to tie your grounds to a singular point to avoid ground loops.

I still cant figure out where to get a toggle switch which has more than 3 points, probably I just use 2 switches like this;

So I'll wire up each switch with both connection from the headphone jack...when switching between headphone, both toggle must be turned for the left and right channel sweat.gif rclxub.gif

Actually with latest fly by wire state of the art commercial jets, there's nothing to flick or switch. They are all done by the computers. laugh.gif
