v^_^ Collected my city-s yesterday from honda old klang road. My SA kept saying that i'm lucky to get the car before CNY as i made booking last month. trade in my year 2000 wira for 14k. he prolly wanted to earn from the wira so quickly get me a car.

honestly i like the car (if not i wouldn't have bought it) but looking at the way it's delivered it looks rushed. paint finishes and stuffs doesn't look too good. sound insulation is pretty bad (for me) but heck it's a way better car than my old wira.

anyway hope u guys will be able to get your cars asap n hopefully b4 CNY. happy.gifv

For the rear seats, I requested for it to be merged into 1 piece only, looks neater to me... brows.gif  Normally it comes in 3 pieces like the Honda mats itself...

for those who can't imagine coil mat with sewing... close up shot:

and I went ahead and did my autolock! Don't care about warranty la! Hahaha  whistling.gif

black is cool but the lack of tone/color decreases the sense of luxury. it's not a cheap car. combination of beige, black & silver is nice. my personal opinion. it's still a great car though. love it.

drove my new city in the rain today. gosh i felt like the car being hit by stones. tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok tok all the way until i reach home. how come the sound insulation so bad 1. the engine is loud (some people actually likes it). in terms of thermal/light penetration, the design of the windscreen is in a way direct sunlight enters the car a lot and cook both the driver and passenger. tinting is a must. ah~~~ need to spend.

1. engine sound from the inside is loud and obvious when driving between 1st to 3rd gear. once touch 80km/h it's really smooth. so try to avoid small roads and drive faster. lol.

2. driving in rain is not so nice. the tok tok tok is very loud too as mentioned in my earlier post. might consider adding some insulation or just live with it.

3. funny thing i discovered today. unlock the car with remote key. open bonnet with key. after a few secs doors are locked. bonnet opened yet alarm not triggered.

4. today when driving along jln istana around noon. i can feel the heat on my hands. a/c is cold but the heat is unbearable. this car definitely needs tinting.

5. carpet have to get those coil mats if not the original ones definitely gone case cause it's not meant for heavy duty use. i go to construction sites a lot. so no choice must get mats.

Back from outstation trip for CNY, drive my PMM City all the way. It's already 1k and ready for its first service.

A few things I found after driving the car:
1. I only get around 11km/L in avg, maybe the engine is still new.

2. My trip was bumpy ride, and I feel the car is bumpy when I drive over 90km/hr. Get choked if you drink in the car. Perhaps due to the 16" rims and tyre.

3. Rear bumper 'slipped' down. I can see it's not intacted tightly now. I found this after reaching destination. Will need to ask my SA when I send it back for service.

4. Alarm will not sound if rear boot is opened.

5. The alarm sound is so wheeny, a baby's cry is even louder.

6. The air con is not fast cooling, my old wira is better. 3rd speed is so loud. Try to turn to fan speed 3, then turn on both leg and front cooling, it sounds like you got a hole somewhere in the pipe. Wira air con is much better in control.

7. During overtaking, good response in change of gear, but engine sound quite noisy...paddle shift is good in control.

If you have the same experience, please share as well.
*
1. The most i get was 12.2km/l only. As long as I stay on highways (with no jam) longer the FC is lesser. =(

2. Unlike Toyota, Honda is made for better handling and therefore reduces comfort.

3. No problem with the bumpers but the double sided tape of my rear car plate is peeling off. Wondering if during service they can stick it again for me.

4. That's normal for the NHC.

5. Agree. Alarm is too soft.

6. No problem with a/c. Cools pretty fast but when turn to both leg and front cooling it is loud.

7. When "tekan" engine revs up to around 4k rpm and is loud (noisy). Got no paddle shift (Grade S)

8. Handbrake seems stiff but doesn't lock the tires hard enough. Need to do some adjustments during 1k service.

9. Quality of production in terms of workmanship is pretty poor. Nothing much can do about it I guess.

Wanna ask you guys. If I am to do tinting and waxing, technically which 1 should I go for first?

And bear in mind, to run in your engine you must not rev over 3K and advisable not over 100km/h... And not to let go lightly and the engine will become "lazy" and "powerless" in future. After the engine run in, the FC and power will be good. My friend in Singapore had 4.5K mileage and his City getting 650-690km on 34 liter average.

Sorry I don't understand this statement. Can anyone please explain it to me?

CVT really does provide a smooth and comfortable ride BUT it's really sad when you wanna overtake the car in front.

Ya chris x...seems like it's not the right feedback channel as it's for the Malaysia My Second Home campaign for foreigners. Anyone out there got contact details to write in to HM for complaints?

Yea, but the 3G City is sufficiently fuel economical la. It was much better than my previous Waja
So no complaints for me.
I guess driving at odd days or even days is good. Save fuel and car mileage too smile.gif

Have to drive very gently lo. I try to keep my RPM below 2k and my FC is 12.8km/l. That's 14cents/km.

Somehow I have the impression that cars now days are being stole by towing away or forcefully drag you out instead of breaking in and driving it away. Anyway interesting equipment you have. Is it available in any shopping complex like carrefour/tesco?
