QUOTE(mr_anwar @ Feb 9 2009, 03:10 PM) Dear Rakyat, My take?It seems all people tend to buy NHC E-Spec and not the S-Spec. E-Spec = 89800 S-Spec + Modulo Bodykit = 84900 + 4750 = 89650 More over, we need to fork out some extra cash for PPS + Tinting. Give some opinion whether it's worth for the upgrade fr S spec to E spec E-Spec = RM89,800 + Modulo (Not from Honda) RM1,800 (there's a forumer selling) + PPS RM544 + Tinting RM1,650 = RM91,600 = RM93,794 Your Spec, S Spec + Module = RM89,650 + PPS RM544 + Tinting RM1,650 = RM91,844 The savings that you get with your S-Spec is only RM1,950.... not very significant. that's the cost of maybe the 16" rims only.. You get more with the E-Spec Info in relation to strut bars.. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Added on February 9, 2009, 3:26 pm QUOTE(zweimmk @ Feb 9 2009, 02:31 PM) ARB might be better, but if you get UR struts, make sure you get front and back struts for maximum effect - otherwise you will still be able to feel the body roll. Yea.. as of now, thinking of getting the multi-point front struts and the 4-point lower arm barThen later get the 16mm anti-roll bar too.. Added on February 9, 2009, 3:26 pm QUOTE(dstyx @ Feb 9 2009, 03:09 PM) Went to Raytech Kuchai Lama today. Pro-Series Titan Silver Std. Saloon RM 1000 for NHC. Watcha think? Is the price okay? Anyone using this series? Is it good? Could you list us the specifications VLT, IR etc ??This post has been edited by sysh: Feb 9 2009, 03:26 PM |

QUOTE(mr_anwar @ Feb 9 2009, 04:19 PM) Agreed. Is it possible to add in the bodykit / spoiler after 1 year? Will the color match? Yes, you can add it anytime.. be it 6 months, 1 year or 2 years etc.Yes, strut bar is a must have. How much does it cost for the NHC? Last time i bought Rm130++ (front only) for waja. Well.. over time, your car paint will discolour..so even if the bodykit is using the same body paint as your car.. the colour might be a little different. If you polish and wax your car religiously..the difference might be less pronounced. Anyway I suggest to get the E-Spec, since accessories shop can offer bodykits which is just as good in terms of quality (using FRP, ABS or PP)..at a fraction of a cost. Most people are selling the 2-Point front strut tower bar for RM160.. but I think we can get it for say RM140 - RM150 for bulk This post has been edited by sysh: Feb 9 2009, 04:30 PM |

QUOTE(sebaver @ Feb 9 2009, 05:46 PM) Hey bro! Where did you get this brake lock fitted? And for how much?? Err... you don't drive ur car with the brake lock in place, bro..And does it get in the way of your shoes/feet when driving? Added on February 9, 2009, 6:18 pm QUOTE(mugen_tech @ Feb 9 2009, 05:59 PM) No lar... not everybody gets RM1k discount. Usually RM500 - RM1000. Depends on how desperate the SA is.Like my bro, his darn SA don't even want to give him a single sen. Even free petrol, maybe give RM20 only. What a stingy fella. Should've cancelled his booking at that showroom, in hindsight. Luckily I did, for mine. This post has been edited by sysh: Feb 9 2009, 06:18 PM |

QUOTE(mugen_tech @ Feb 9 2009, 06:32 PM) Yea. I did get back 100% of my refund. Went to another SA which was recommended by my dad, got RM800 + Honda T-Shirt + Honda Umbrella Should've done for my bro too. but thought it wasn't "nice" to cancel both 'cos we had made inquiries etc with the SA before the launch. But realised damn stingy fella. will tell my bro to give bad rating if the survey fella calls him up (i just got called up and participated in honda's survey.. took 40 mins.. dunno got freebie or not..hehe!) |

QUOTE(alwintwk @ Feb 9 2009, 09:06 PM) hey bro..i install this lock about RM280 somewhere in sunway.. Which shop did you install this?this lock is design to fit our NHC..so dun worry on wherther it will block ur feet or shoes, when it in locking position of coz it will block ur feet, but when u unlock it..it wont block u..although u think it might block ur feet when driving..i quite happy with this lock so far..convinence,save space and fast lock/unlock... And what's the name of this lock? At least can google it up or something Looks like this kind of lock is a 'permanent' fixture in the car, isn't it? since it seems to be attached to the floor or something? Added on February 9, 2009, 11:30 pm QUOTE(mugen_tech @ Feb 9 2009, 09:16 PM) Waaaa... So lucky u. And me, so despredo SA. His name Lee, not remember his full name. Yea, pretty happy with the service from my SA so far. Btw, his said my car already at Peringgit, just waiting from me to buy number & sign off e document Btw, if your SA is good or sucky.. if you do get called up by this survey company.. your comments can affect his / her commission. plus of course the 'points' of the dealer. so if they're sucky to you, you can always complain back.. QUOTE(alwintwk @ Feb 9 2009, 11:40 PM) It wont stop u from starting ur engine..it will lock at P mode since u cant press ur brake when it lock..so the car cant be move although the engine is started.. Oh, Racing Fit. I was there a week ago when I was waiting for my car to be PPS'ed.i install this lock at sunway the shop name was "racing fit" this lock is permanent (used some screw) but i plan to weld it, to really permanent on it position, so is very hard to removed... Hmm... screw eh? That means if anybody has the right tools, they can just unscrew it off? Best to weld it, as you say.. |

QUOTE(invisible_guy22 @ Feb 9 2009, 11:51 PM) hey bros out there.. got a noob questions here. You can buy first, if you want a specific numberhave to buy numbers from jpj first or wait for the car to come first?? and in term of paying the down payment, we have to pay it cash or cheque?? thanks in advance. If not, you can wait for the car to come..then ask your SA to register for you. down payment? cash or cheque is fine.. cheque however will take a day or so to clear unless you have a banker's cheque. |

QUOTE(invisible_guy22 @ Feb 10 2009, 12:30 AM) thanks for the info. if i ask my SA to register for me, i have to go with him?? is it possible to settle jpj stuff and collect car on the same day?? coz i'm planning to apply leave when my car comes. [/quite] You don't need to go to JPJ. Your SA will get a runner to do it, or he will go himself. Most of the time it's the runner, save time. When your car is registered with JPJ, then you can get it. For example, if it gets done on a Monday.. he will tell you to come on a Tuesday to collect it. Cos they usually go and clean and polish your car the day you collect it (from experience) P.s. You need to ensure that you have your Insurance ready before it can registered. But usually your SA will kau tim for you. This post has been edited by sysh: Feb 10 2009, 12:36 AM |

QUOTE(Lowyat @ Feb 10 2009, 05:45 PM) Can la.. there's no hard and fast rule about this.Just read your manual. They only say it takes about 1000km to let the 'engine break in'. 100kmh is about 2k rpm. nothing to shout about. if you accidentally reach 3k or something, there's nothing to be scared la.. the engine isn't tat fragile however in the manual does say not to brake 'hard' for the first 300km, there's a "run in" period too hard and you might damage ur brake rotors.. |
