1st Day Lunch, I Ate Dragon Inn Seafood Restaurant. Nothing Special. I Not Sure Whether Cheap Or Not. For Me, So So Only. Average RM2X Per Person.

1st Day Dinner, I Ate At Semporna/Sipadan Inn Area(Which Near The Scuba Junkies - Blue Corner). Next To That Inn, Got One Restaurent "Turtle Tom Cafe" Corner. Offering BBQ Seafood, RM20 Per Person (Exclude Drink), Big Prawn One Per Person. Chicken Wing, Fish, Fried Squid, Rice All Unlimited.

2nd Day Dinner, I Ate At Restaurant (Next To Seafest Hotel), Called "Anjung Lepa", Ala Carte Food, Fried Rice, Noodle Etc. RM5.00 ++
Must Tried Their Desert, Called "CBA" RM3.50 ++ (Worth The Bucks)

Last Day Dinner, I Ate Restaurant, Called Kam Ling Seafood Restaurent.
Seafood Dinner. Very Crowd. Nice Food. Price? Not Sure Cheap Or Not.
Well, Very Satisfied. All Fresh Seafood Served.

Wah Avg RM20/pax not really cheap liao...Puchong seafood sometime can get ~RM15/pax-leh (Yat moon Puchong ~ RM50 /3 pax)

Perhentian Abdul chalet seffod- everynite also ~RM40 for 3 nia...

Will try this kam Ling but where hor?

According to my dad, he had very nice seafood noodles/porridge for breakfast in Tawau. Sorry ah, he doesn't know the exact location, coz uncle brought him...

Normal Dishes Ala Carte Around RM5 Per Pax
But Heard From Driver Said Got RM1.80 Mix Rice.

Geee.lotsa ppl telling me Tawau 7 Semporan famus for cheap seafood haizzz...Even just now just bck from my seafood makan at Puchong Jaya..1 salted egg crab, 1 marmite chicken & 1 taufu...Total RM48 nia or RM13/pax

Tawau's seafood is cheap - cook it yourself..

If you buy from the Tawau wet market, 1kg of crab baru RM$8 nia. Here in WM is RM$20-25...

hehe..how to cook leh...Tak-kan bringing my pot & invection cooker wth me liao? Sumore me cook all chow tar wan!

Me want cheap-cheap & nais-nais seafood...restaurants wan..BTW, Puchong market got RM10/kg crab also-lah..If so expensive, whole Puchong will not offer RM18/kg crab meat liao like this one I tried this Evening:

True, but if you see the trend in Tawau people, more of them would love to dine seafood outside..

Just checked in to Tawau MB Hotel momenet ago..

My 1st nite was at Dragon Inn - Although voted top 10 floating hotels in the world by Canada travel writer, But I dun think worth the money bcos...looks old, aircon not powerfull at all & sumore the water pressure super low...We shop around & booked Borneo Global Backpacker (Seafest Inn) beside seafest hotel....At RM90/nite wth 3 beds & attached bathroom just nice & clean..& wth free wifi too..but too tire to try

About the seafood & food at Semporna...super small Philipinoes (bajau Laut & Suluk ppl) town where people stay on the sea rather than land...Chinese restaurant very rare here except fe like Dragon Inn, Seafest & Uncle Chang Seaside Seafood & Mabul Cafe (Fusion)....Standard pricing & CONFIRMED more expensive than KL although the fresh fishes selling at pasar is dirt cheap! Grouper cheapest at RM50/kg!!..damn!! ..Ended up makan nasi goreng & hokkien kolok mee nia...that also cheapest RM5!!

2nd day I booked a speedboat for RM230/boat (Can accomodate ~8...so the more the cheapest!!) to Sibuan, Maiga & Sebangkat islands...Sibuan damn cool...life colorfull corals super good...But the water surrounding Semporana full of rubbish although crystal clear...So Sebankat & Maiga are total disaster wth rubbish everywhere yet water still clear.
We track up Bkt Tengkorak archeology site late evening

3rd day we booked teh same boat to Mabul & Kapalai for RM280. Less sampah but the coral reef at Mabul is not as good as Sibuan...We also went to Madai Cave at Kunak Y'day...

Now going to Tawau Hill.....Later Tonite probably post some of the highlight..& hopefully Tawau having cheaper seafood..

Don't forget to take photos from the hanging bridge, nice scenery overlooking Tawau and Philippines..

how many km u track liao ? re-rad help alot rite ?

I tracked everyday from 4pm till 7pm after bck from snorkeling. But my 2nd day tracklogs I forgotteb about the ext antenna,,thus tracklogs abit out! covered Tg kapor side of Semporna....Y'day covering abit of Kunak town & Today...Lotsa Tagasan kampungs....+ just now covering Tawau Hill & also kg Bombalai ..Tawau hill closed at 5pm & I reached there !5:15pm...atleast the tracklogs is inbtact ...Still can't identify the active Volcano of Bombalai...

5) The bajau laut waterworld...I was like seeing so many water villages surrounding the semporna area...U can see more houses on the sea rather than small sleepy Semporna. The huge population living on islands, atolls & also open sea as below CONTRIBUTED to the worsening rubbish surrounding the sea .Horrible,,, ..Someone better teach them not to throw rubbish

BTW, Y'day niote is abother dissapointing nite. Visited Sabido Seafood ctr (Kam Ling)..After checking the pricing...I was like ...Damn worst than Semporna...RM50.kg grouper which is the cheapest!! prophet at RM70.kg & lobster RM150/kg!! ..The cheapest Ketam BUNGA - RM35/KG!!!....Even the Pul;au ketam red crab only RM25/kg!! Check Kam Ling seafood pricing:



We decided not to hv our seaffod dinner & saw a quiet kopitiam (Kong Yung beside MB hotel....RM6/plate of fish fillet, kolok pork & sinkung taufu...RM19 for 3 inc of free rice & RM1 chinese tea.....damn cheap!!...So I banned liao all seafood restaurants in East Sabah....Dunno how's the seafood pricing in KK
