You can always do a Google search for 'chiro in < area >' and see ratings and reviews as well. Don't have any info on your issue but remember chiro deals with joints which in turn are held in place by muscles and fascia which is in the realm of physiotherapy. So any particular issue could be due to just joints or muscles or a combination of both.

Take things one step at a time... Do a consultation 1st. Depending on how the chiro/physio does the explanation., you can then decide to go ahead with treatment or look for 2nd opinion. Consultation usually not too expensive. Bring an xray if you feel your case is complicated. If your problem has been for some time, then you may need more than 1 session but getting over that 1st session is the biggest obstacle... better than surgery though! The chiro/physios also have some helpful therapeutic machines. Just don't feel pressured to buy packages though.

Lots of new chiropractic Centre have been opened in various part of Klang Valley.

Can see the popularity of the practice among Malaysian nowadays.

I usually just google best chiropractor in kl and just start reading reviews from there. Do some research on various chiropractic clinics and pick one you're comfortable with. Also the price may vary anywhere from RM30 to RM200++ per session depending on how experienced the chiropractor is. I have a friend who receives chiropractic treatment for RM50+ per session in Kota Damansara, been a few months still going back. The one I went to uses a traditional method called the gonstead method. It's abit more pricey but my results says otherwise. The one I went to is Bewell chiropractic at Sunway. At the end of the day it's up to you though, choose who are you comfortable with. Don't be afraid to just inquire about their services.

how much was ur first visit with BeWell? I understand that u need to do xray on ur first visit, can u do it at their centre? or do u have to do xray elsewhere and bring it to their centre for further examination?
Would prefer to have my xray done there, and straight do first treatment if possible. Having a little bit of lower back pain

Kindly recommend a good value for money DORN therapy / gonstead method around KL area

I check and mentioned therapy around RM4k and medicine around RM3k. Its just about correcting hip alingment.

Strange part the practioner told even after the treatment may not 100% guarantee.

In addition, any good shi shi master around KL area to tackle shoulder pain? Suspect maybe "urat lari" or "angin".

Kindly advise.

I also went to bewell at sunway and I saw their Principal Chiropractor Dr Michiko Liew. She is very professional and experienced. Only 3 sessions and my headache was solved. That’s explain why those high ratings and reviews on her

I used to check all comments from lowyat forum before I visited them. Got to know that they changed name from my Precision Chiro to BeWell chiropractic. Not sure why. But anyway I am very satisfied with my chiropractor. And they have 2 outlets. One at sunway and another one at Sri Petaling. Easier for me since I stay at Puchong.

I did my new x Ray at sunway medical center which is right opposite BeWell sunway branch. It is very clear resolution and affordable compared to what I did at BP lab last time when I visited other chiropractor.

X Ray could be quite troublesome. But it is much safer. And I like their ideas to find out root cause instead of simply cracking you here and there.

First Visit at beWell is vary depend on which chiropractor you want to consult. Roughly about RM200-300. Hope it can help you.

I went to Discover Chiropractic SS2. Dr Sean treated my lower back and neck problems. He is very honest in his work and really knowledgeable. Practising Gonstead adjustment technique and it is very precise and concise with his findings. Definitely the right place to go if u look for the best gonstead chiro in Malaysia. Try to YouTube the clinic's name and u will know about his work.

If you're looking for one in PJ area, I recommend Kim's Chiropractic. Very friendly staff and super cozy centre.

Their treatment starts from RM110 for chiro and RM50 for physio. Consult is RM100 but waived if you start treatment.

The staff also all female, very suitable for those aunties who are not so comfortable with male staff.

I remember my MD friend told me that if an experienced dr or chiropractor wouldn't request to take X-ray for every patient, X-ray is not recommend to take more than 3 times a year. That's why my friend asked me to go to Abby Chiropractic Care to seek for consultation, because the chiropractor there was trained by a US chiropractor, very experienced and skillful.

The chiro will only ask you to take X-Ray if they suspect slip disc, or other bones problem, otherwise (eg: like alignment) they don't really recommend to take X-Ray. I experienced his skill, he won't keep asking you come back for follow up unless the case is very severe.

The charges are RM65 to RM160 (included consultation, and it depends on your condition, i went there 3 times, 1st time RM145; 2nd time RM120 3rd time (new problem: I blow my back and sprain my ankle) RM125

The doctor keep asking me to put ice pack and do exercises provided at home. Follow up is because want to see my condition whether it got any improvement.

Chiropractic First is RM105 per visit

RM90 if package of 40 sessions
RM80 if package of 90 sessions

(Not sure, but prices might be same in the different branches?)

Personally I prefer not to get tie up with the packages

Don’t like the doctor just move on to other chiropractors

The first visit may cost you more than usual, registration fee and etc (Between MYR 500 and MYR 700, pending on chiropractor) Each session will set you back between MYR 250 and MYR 350.
