when i sit i need to put my feet up otherwise i keep shifting my position too

anyway, so i'm intending to visit a chiropractor, but i was wondering if anyone knows how much the consultation fees cost?

I am a chiropractor practicing in Plaza Damas, Sri Hartamas.

There is no standard charges in Malaysia right now. It may range from RM70-200.

The charges are all depending on the treatment given. Some chiropractic centres has physiotherapy facilities such as ultrasound, interferential currents, EMS, low grade laser, specialized tables. The charges are reflected from the equipments used.

Some chiropractors charges low such as RM70. THat means they have no other equipment at their centres except hands.

For my case, we charge RM110 for first visit, subsequent visits is RM90. We have a full physiotherapy facility and chiropractic specialized tables

You can check out the website www.chiropractormalaysia.com

Added on January 21, 2009, 10:40 amThere are lots of bad apple Chiropractors out there in Malaysia. Signing patients with very expensive packages ie. RM5000-10000 range. Do not fall into it because it is totally against Ministry of Health ruling.

A reasonable charge for a USA/Canada/Australia trained chiropractor is about RM70-120 per session. Anything more than that is considered unreasonable.

oh hello hello

so i went to the chiropractor in klang, the first visit is rm130 and the subsequent visit is rm100

i guess they charge depending on the severity of your case. i got diagnosed with scolisis T_T so during the first visit the doc already pressed on my muscles and cracked too many bones (so bloody pain! i cried ok!), and then they put me on this massage machine and then stuck electrodes on to my back. after that the nurse taught me basic daily exercises i have to do, even teaching me a special method of getting up from my bed sleep.gif"

anyway it was rm130 for 2 hours first visit.

*

they also have this package to help you save money :
rm1k - 12 visits
rm2k - 26 visits
rm3k - 40 visits
rm4k - 56 visits

but i'm on the fence about it, so i'll go do some research before i commit first tongue.gif

p/s the doc is from usa

hey ... my fren ... I was also having this backbone problem .. which is why "I think" matter comes in ....

consulted Dr Ong (chiro at Maluri cheras ) with the question of "I think " .. he advised me for a Xray at pantai Indah hospital ...

then follow by 2nd visit to look at the xray ... ..glad that is NOT a Big problem ... some adjustment done on the "Table"

then follow by 3rd visit ( with advice and print out on how to do some light movement to build core muscle on stomach lower back area )
.. all in all about RM 500.00

The free consultation, anybody tried that before? Testing and touching involve? Thinking of going just for the sake of checking whether my bones are ok or not...
I do have backache sometimes.
