aliftaufiq, you are right. the waja 4g18's fuel pump is very sensitive.
we need to maintain a 'save' amount of fuel inside the tank all the time.
refueling when the low fuel indicator turn turn will shortened the fuel pump's lifespan. i am a lil worry about mine too. sweat.gif

heck! it will easily cost over 400 bucks.

I travel outstation often and figured to improve my waja in term of comfort. need idea from all.

one of things which in my head is to install perdana seat. do anybody know if i can fit in perdana seat in my waja. have anybody done that before?
*
imo, the seat changes offer very minimal improvement. unless it was a top of the range seat with back massage functionality as those available on luxury cars brows.gif not sure if there is one for waja sweat.gif
if you want to get rid of the NVH, go for sound proofing as suggested by Spiroth. go for those dual layer works but they will easily cost 1k though. and perhaps a slight increase in FC due to added weight. unsure.gif
there a quite a number of 'em offered in garage sales.
changing to 60 instead of 55 tires will help but there will be a compromise on handling.
else, consider going for better suspension setup.

@Eugene; congratulation to the arrival of your baby thumbup.gif

what about wind noise from the window
over time, your window rubber will harden and when u wind ur window up and travel at 100, u hear shuuzhhshhhh

no point doing soundproof on your doors when u can hear ur window sound louder after that
*
in those case, does those rubber softener / silicon sealant on sale in hardware shop works then? hmm.gif
at least the door / floor sound proofing lessened the sound that comes from tires brows.gif

err....anyone here knows where to buy the vortex shader that fit to cover the antenna area? tongue.gif

it look like this Attached Image but i want the antenna cover only. not the whole row.

Hi guys i need some advice about Waja car. I'm planning to buy a used Waja car.Do you think a RM20,000 Waja is a good deal?

http://www.wemotor.com/?mod=browse&make=50...ce=20000&state=
*
a 2003 waja auto was listed for 20k too shocking.gif
TS, do check how much is the mileage covered and if possible, last service too.
auto transmission is a bit of worry when purchasing a used car. anyway, there are a lot of other thing to consider when buying a 2nd hand car.
ie;
good engine and gearbox condition.
no rust underneath / no leakage / no jerking / no vibration when idle.
make sure it is a proton not a 'potong' car. seriously tongue.gif
check the tires thread; uneven wear on the inner or outer thread indicates something wrong with alignment...etc....
test the brake in high speed. make sure the car stop in line.
no squeaking / minimal sound when cornering / going over bump.
electronic things all functioned.
check with relevant authorities too if there is an outstanding 'love letter' brows.gif

just to list a few of em... btw, i bought my waja direct from the user at the end of last year.
everything was fine except the right side wiper loosened and it was so noisy.
minus the tool box too!

guys, any idea where can i buy the tools like those originally comes with the car? icon_question.gif

just wonder if we can install an alarm light at the driver's side on waja, akin to those in wira and other car(the blinking light when the alarm is on).... btw, mine was a factory pre-installed alarm system.

another question; is it normal for the car's RPM to drop and stay in 1K when we start the engine in the
morning? hmm.gif

those with ABS, airbagss, leather seat and 4G18P engine is the premium model. thus badge as 1.6X.
the standard 1.6 waja 4G18 doesn't come with those features.

added weight should not be a worry. the stuff is kinda light.
a friend of mine installed to his car and the trunk lid feel quite solid.
he claimed there is very little effect on the insulation though. cost him rm95.
i may install it to my car; for cosmetic purpose once am done with 4-2-1 extractor and brake service.
