Guys , when i arm my alarm... sometimes the alarm will went off and sometimes not. i suspect is the boot or the door doesnt closed tight enough... but i test it by shutting the door tight and try to pull a bit when the alarm is armed... the alarm doesnt went off...

asked my fren , he said maybe is the battery low... but i checked, the battery water enough...

i wanna confirm from u guys , is the alarm try to tell me something wrong with the car or the alarm reached the time to change?
*
Battery water level does not indicate battery power level. I also think the battery level is low.

U want the 1 that mod the gear lever or mod at the gearbox??
RACE offer this kind of service..But they will mod at ur gearbox not those rm 1xx short shift style  brows.gif
*
Yeah, RACE is my top choice for the mean time. As the kept the lever height same. Anyway, don't think you can get short shift for below 200 nowadays, unless 2nd hand. My LMST short shift also cost me RM200 and thats 2 years ago laugh.gif

Just ask them (RACE) about their shortshifter. It actually a mod to the standard one, not changing the lever as normal short shift. The only disadvantage is that once done, it cannot be changed back to standard. So, whats you guys think? Issit worth it?

QUOTE(driftmeister @ Feb 7 2009, 11:03 AM)
heck it's for woofer
if the amp do not provide enuf power or control to the woofer
how it's gonna sing well?

at least a decent one will provide better bass response
*
You ca always bridge the channel. Unless you wanna run the woofer at 100% all the time.

Anybody knows how good is the cross drilled disc sold by RACE? How about AXT disc from speedworks? Is Mintex M1144 brade pads better or RACE SPS ceramic brake pad? Thanks
*
I already ask them about it. They recommend to change the brake hose to the steel braided one 1st because it give more accurate braking feels.

I already changed the brake line to steel braided. I was using R3 slotted disc with mintex pads but unfortunately the left disc was eaten more until no more groove. Had to change back to standard disc. Planning to change but R3 cross drilled disc no more in stock for now. Maybe middle of the year can get. Can't wait so planning either to get RACE SPS cross drilled disc or AXT disc
*
I personally think that if wanted to increase braking performance, better change to bigger caliper with more piston and disc size. Even Alex Yoong Neo track car are also using ventilated disc but bigger size and caliper. But, sing slotted or crossdrilled does look cool though. brows.gif

Cross drill sure look cool and braking also better
*
True, but lets take a look why cross drilled >>slotted>>ventilated>>solid disc. It is because its ability to dispersed heat after repeated hard braking. A hot disc and pad will desrease its grip. IMHO, using bigger disc and caliper with more pots will definitely give you better result unless you like to do repeated hard braking.

Its a civic EG. BTW, even the mech also said that car is like a track car with mix n match part making its harder to troubleshoot.
