Just bought HP 2140!!! still in box.. hvnt unpack it....! my own birthday present...... too bad.. my creditcard only allow me for 6 months installment payment... no 12 months sad.gif

when i press fn+f8 to mute the sound, my machine freeze except mouse pointer. When i further press the fn +xx function. everything is freeze...

can someone help me to confirm one thing pls...tks

In BIOS. there's a option where ENABLE already. it's something to do with the FN key. just DISABLE it. it should be no problem

nope. that just toggle the fn/control key.
it does not help.
can u pls help to verify if executing the fn+f8 key will work correctly? thats the mute sound function.

i dont think its freeze. its just locked the keyboard or mouse.

hm.. don't quite understand. it's not suppose to lock the keyboard and mouse where that function is actually to mute the sound.

problem solved: it clashed with another software installed.

Just started to use my Mini just now.. was wondering how does the "scroll function" on the pad works? smtime it can scroll smtime cannot... tongue.gif

i ordered mine on 19 May, got it on 1st June. about 12 calender days....

i would suggest you to call HP fo find out the status.....

I bought for 1699 (give HP original pouch + a chap ayam mouse; broken oredi) + rm 99 for Upgrade to 2Gb Ram.. total damage Rm 1799...

going to get a proper bag for it which can put mouse n the charger cables.. i think another 100+... total round 2k... ahhaha.. any1 can suggest a nice decent looking bag to goes with this nice netbook?

U better call up HP to check your order status.

Most of the member get their mini within 10~12 working days.

just bought Black 1000HE yesterday for my bro..so far i will say i still prefer HP mini 2140 except the shortcut button that we can change the cpu perfomance (speed)...and it's cheap..only rm1499 with XP home and BT..and 9H battery
