Probably you can give Nokia Malaysia a call just to be save. Last time I bought N70 from a very little known company too and I thought they were AP company. But ended up to be an original unit. That time N70 wasn't sold at any places at all except for that company. I gave Nokia Malaysia a call and gave the serial number and they verified it.

helo all.. wish to ask.. is this phone's screen touch sensitivity same as iphone? i hav read somewhere iphone utilize touch sensitive based on electrical pulse from our body so gentle tap will be enough.. while most touch screen phone nowadays which claimed to be finger operational is actually using pressure sensitive screen.. can any1 clarify? thanks

its nice ... unfortunately the cutting to avoid cover the light sensor is a bit ugly leh

that's correct... that's why there is a stylus located at the bottom right of the 5800... iphone cannot use stylus, not even fingernail...

Two types of touch panel: capacitive and resistive.

Capacitive: iPhone
Resistive: 5800

The Nokia 5800 is based on pressure/resistive screen. But sensitivity is a whole new level of improvement compared to other screens like HTC. Its very sensitive and almost like capacitive screen used on iPhone/iPOD Touch.

thanks for the info.. so it is resistive.. just wondering how friendly is it to operate with finger.. coz i find it troublesome to use stylus

i am not sure, but so far i never use the stylus due to I have a long nail for my thumb

will using finger nail scratch the beautiful screen? hehe
