I've heard there are also some good traveling tailors coming over to KL some times. My friends got a few from Bangkok, Pinkies or Tailor On Ten are pretty decent I believe and are coming over quite regularly.

A review on ToT please. One of the rare 'proper' tailors in Bangkok so it would be interesting to see their work.

At that price range, would people like Jeremy Tok, Bespoke or Ah Loke and the other usual suspects would fit yours no? The last chat I had with JT, I think his H&S was around 6k, my starter kit back then was around 1.6k ..

That why looking for alternatives smile.gif
we too comfort with them already .. I not fancy of big name, just wool n decent skill can do me already ....

They'll be happy to be thought of as big names hahaha...

Only ToT is a proper bespoke from the list, the rest are generally those with 1-2 days turnaround which leads me to suspect they are more RTW or fused suits heavy rather than mtm...

My friends' suit looks awesome so that I know wink.gif. But looking at their website their pricing seems pretty competitive. They are in KL this week I see, wouldn't mind trying them out.

Hey, any update on this? I'd be curious to know how it turned out and what the price point was as half or fully canvassed suits are a rarity normally.
*
First suit turned up alright! I am making 2 more closer to end of this month - August, as I have additional cloth lying around. Will go for another full canvassed and another half canvassed just so I could see if the differences are significant / minimal.

Price for half canvassed is half of ALT, full canvassed I have no comparison as I did not find one in Msia previously.

Hi. Suit newbie here. Gotta get a suit for my bro's wedding soon. Are there any tailors charging 400-800ish for a piece? Cant afford beyond 1k and the ready made ones I find in retail stores never fit well on me.

How much the price?

I am looking at ToT to make the suit in Bangkok.

Would it be cheaper there / what's the expected turnover time?

Thanks!

This one alone cost your 6.8k MYR?
Single piece or 2 piece? full canvased?

Mind to share what fabric you use?

Guys, I'm planning to make my first suit at Tailor On Ten in Bangkok.

Would like to hear your reviews of the place.

Also would like to know what should I take to consideration once I'm making a suit, material , style etc.

Thanks !

Anyone knows of a decent and cheap alteration service?

I just want to alter the sleeve length for a few shirts I purchased off the rack.

Thank you for any kind recommendations!
