Hmmm... was your disc locked on the centre spindle when you opened the case first time round? Maybe it got loose & moved around inside like in a washing machine during shipment! Mine happened many times... but only with dvds, never before on my blurays (bd has better locking spindle device & the case is smaller & compact). But in your case anything can happen because it's not sealed!

Just email back Amazon for a replacement set and I bet, you don't have to return the faulty set. I'm pretty sure they'll reply with something like: "...as the cost of return shipping is prohibitively expensive in this case, you do not need to return the item." Yup, dat's what I get on few occasions. Oh.... but dat's from Amazon US

nope it was not locked. moreover the condition of the casing does not looked like it's new. even 2nd hand ones are better looking compare to this.

i have just sent it back today. using airmail. will keep you guys posted on what's the outcome.

on a separate note. cdwow shipping is quite fast. they dispatched my item on saturday, and i got it in the mailbox today. but i have waited about 12 days before they dispatched the item.

Yup, cdwow is not bad given their price a bit expensive & all, but it's FREE shipping to M'sia & you can choose which currency you prefer when making payment! One thing I don't like about them is their website... they don't list a bd title's statistics (like features, aspect ratio etc etc). A friend of mine got a locked region B bd even though it was stated as "Region 0" at the website
