hey..im planning to use w30 engine oil...is it ok?..for those who had used plz advise abit..lol...currently im using 10w40 frm badhral...so any improvement if use 5w30 engine oil??...pick up really improve??....and heard that high revving also feels better and faster speed gaining....is it true??

persona come with Campro CPS or IAFM?
Between that wat the different both engine?
CPS better or IAFM better? i thought waja and persona come with CPS?
Actually i waited to buy satria neo cps one waiting for the launch...

if u wan jus try 5w40 as 5w30 a bit thin for ur car lo~

persona no cps..only iafm....current cars with cps=waja,gen2.....

w30 is thinner than w40...

some said no problem.. u also can if u wan... but for me w40 is ok lor... w30 mostly is for small cars, n more thin is not good for long journey...

im currently suing 0w30, maybe wanna try 5w40 when i hit 20k service...

i thought w30 is for 3 cylinder car
if persona use, exhaust no smoke ka? engine sure loud and eat oil..
the most expensive mobil1 also 0w50
recommended for campro is 20w50

the one that i use is castrol slx priced at rm175
engine rev yes, quite loud, but i thought all persona sound like that when rev

the smoke, i did not notice anything pulak, only it is lighter and easier to start every morning.

means pickup faster??? compare to w40/w50??..or just the pedal lighter??...and wad bout fuel consumption??...

fc, hmm 3/4 of tank can go from jalan duta to alor star

as the which one lighter/pedar or pickup, i dunno, persona is the only car that i ever drive

i guess if change to w30 the pickup and FC not much different..lol..just stick to w40.. ....

i could've swear i read somewhere campro only uses 20w50..
ask somebody to rev the car while stationary then check exhaust got smoke or not.. anyway's its up to you which oil you want to use.. im just trying to make conversation here

If this is true, then i can conluded our Campro is dated engine which is in 80's era where the manufacturer recommend thicker viscosity oil.

i'll be towing my car today most probably...but the ss13 SC said its not fuel pump problem but an ECU problem...haihz i also dunno wei, now trying to get the motor insurance company to give me a free tow. Seriously damn susah, my car has been out of action for 2 weeks already sigh...Any other persona owners facing such a critical problem?

in the manual book, its stated recommended engine oil is 20w-50, but if u think logically, tht grade is mainly for old cars, whr the oil is thicker...

when the oil is thicker, ur car pickup will b slightly decreased, even most otai campro also said 10w-40 is the best one for our campro..

if ur engine is new, its not a prob to use 10w-40...

finally, after stalking my SA everyday , tomorrow will have to sign the agreement and pay the downpayment. Next week can get the car, but silver color. Oh well, all persona nice color till i dunno to pick which color

2.30 pm sent to Mutiara Damansara SC and at 5 o clock they already called back...apparently the ss13 who did my 10k km service did not install the spark plugs properly when they replaced them. Not only that, my car was sent in and out twice to that place but they still could not solve the problem. whereas Mutiara DAmansara, 2.5 hrs everything settle....

SIENSSSS....moral of story: Boycott ss13 SC wei...waste time only...
let this be a lesson learnt to all...CHEERS!

Yes, it should be around a week. During my mum bought the blm, they need time for the banker draf to cash in, then register with jpj and insurance company (if u let them do it for u).

Speaking of which, my SA told me my car already at the proton and awaiting for the delivery to branch that should take 2 or 3 days (he said they got system to check). So actually i'm just a bit hesitate whether should i signed the agreement and pay the dp tomorrow
