bendix pads??...now my rs (passenger side) making rough sound when brake.....and as usual, if press harder both side will sound rough....is the characteristic of the brake right?? previous pads dun have the rough sound... ...maybe wanna change to bosch power plus too annoying d...even my friend ask, what is dat sound..

hmmm..get it check at SC....as mine got no such problem.....when crancking the engine, after few secs the engine icon light goes off.....

ask them reset ecu and retune it....and try to check whether the airfilter hose is intact to the engine....

congrats....

try to check ur engine dipstick to find whether its overfill o nt......as i know most SC pour the entire engine oil which will make ur ride abit heavy and overfill.... if its overfilled, send to workshop and tell the mechanic to drain some oil....
btw did the SC return u any left out amount of engine oil?..if no means they pour everything... and oil treatment not necessary for the new engine...

burning smell..maybe the parts are new..so take sometime to wear...if brake smell, the brake pads are bedding in...wait after 1st service, then all the brake pads, tires will be working smooth...even new tires need time to wear in order to provide sufficient grip..

..any car also the same..once taken out, very risky...my friend took out the dashboard from his optra....for some audio installation...now got sound d..

hey ralf...u r using michelin pp2 rite??..how is the road noise? comfort? comparing road noise, which is noiser (stock tyres and pp2)...btw which stock tires u got? mine is continental...

so hows PP2 in ur opinion??..cornering improve alot??.....im using continental...can feel abit sliding.when speeding on highway.. .......

Added on March 28, 2009, 12:47 amnormal for persona....aircond blowing incorrect order.... try changing better wipers..like silicone..BUT DO NOT PUT RAIN-X....if u apply wrongly/not smooth...will cause judder/not smooth....like me...applied rain-x d.....silicone wiper damn noisy and not smooth..now change to rubber..few weeks ok..earlier rain...the wiper become noisy and not smooth again... ....what way to remove rain-x?...so long d..still on the windscreen..=.=

i think tyre slide..aquaplanning??.....one of my tire got defect..lol...rotation not straight..slightly bent......and make the ride around 120km slight steering vibration...but corrected by tire shop...haha..better abit...but just bear with it..until new sets come..

dont think so....la...its tear and wear item..... ...if u change also..they wont notice your tire...unless u go modify engine, put turbo, change cd player, change rims...then maybe void......

yup...wheel area like brake,driveshaft.....correct me if wrong.....but some SC dont care, all they care is the service ur car at SC.....i add 3point strutbars, woofer,change speaker...they didnt say void....

open up the rear seats...and u will see a hook...if the hook is metal...wrap the hook with electric tape (black colour)......if problem still presist...then i got no idea...and send to SC....

pull the long round thing beisde of the headrest..
