QUOTE(attacusatlas @ May 20 2020, 09:20 PM) I received a message from my trusted Sales Advisor that Fred Perry Malaysia was having sales a couple of weeks ago and managed to procure a couple of items during my rush visit to Pavilion KL:![]() The round neck T on the right is for my brother: ![]() I am just tired of unfolding and folding the polo shirt, photo courtesy of atomretro.com: ![]() I also placed an order at fredperry.com. Shipping was fast, by Fedex of course. A special collab with The Specials, in honour of the Specials’ debut album, which was released 40 years ago. Some petty, non-valuable hauls over the weekends.
A parcel from asos.com came in yesterday. Don't expect any premium shopping experience from asos but if you can seize the right moment, you get a bargain: ![]() Gang-bang on my parcel, hmmmm..... ![]() ![]() A Unicorn neck pillow for my little one, some Marvis, hair and body wash by Gentlemen's Hardware. One thing to note: all the Marvis sold by asos.com are in old packaging, a plus point: ![]() This one came in today from strawberrynet.com. I was quite impressed that they worked on Sundays: ![]() Sneak peak: ![]() Yes, more Marvis but came in new packaging: ![]() A family photo, loving the colour. Left are in old packaging whilst on the right, new packaging: ![]() The limited edition Wonders of the World - I still prefer the old packaging, on the left. It has more characteristic: ![]() |

It has been a fruitful week, work-wise and haul-wise.
A shipment from Hong Kong, one of the most anticipated shipments over the MCO (or CMCO) period: ![]() Kapok is one of my favourite select shops based in Wanchai, Hong Kong. It is a walking distance away from Monocle Hong Kong, both located along Francis Yard. I used to get Cire Trudon candles, Tom Dixon candle holders and Atelier Cologne, among others from this shop: ![]() ![]() A foxy tote bag by Maison Kitsune in navy: ![]() ![]() ![]() The Steamery Cirrus No. 2 travel steamer and pilo fabric shaver. Both in black: ![]() A Stockholm based company, Steamery combines both the Scandinavian design and technology that you can never resist : ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by attacusatlas: Jun 8 2020, 08:40 PM |

Together in the shipment are something from Mad en Len, niche fragrance house based in the south of France, offering artisan home fragrances, candles and perfumes made with natural ingredients. The vessel is made of black iron, entirely shaped and burned by hand, like how an ancient blacksmith would forge an object in medieval age.
![]() Mad en Len Black Afghan scented amber (large) and Grand Mogul scented lava rock (mini) potpourri apothecary: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A small haul from a local lifestyle select store, Ninth Gallery: ![]() ![]() A HMM scissors, also double as a boxcutter for unboxing, in matte black. Made of Japanese steel in Taiwan: ![]() ![]() Good as a home deco: ![]() This post has been edited by attacusatlas: Jun 12 2020, 09:30 PM |

A couple of group purchase that I joined not too long ago, and finally got the opportunity to unbox whilst my wife was still sleeping.
![]() On the left, Xerjoff Dhajala from the Shooting Stars collection and Histoires de Parfums Ambre 114 on the right: ![]() I finally decided to procure a full bottle after sampling the vial that I obtained on complimentary from Xerjoff a month ago. Too bad it only comes in one size, 50 ml: ![]() Numbered edition: ![]() However, the real surprise was this - it came with 2 meteorite nuggets, with certificate: ![]() ![]() Histoires de Parfums Ambre 114, all the way from Canada, via a proxy. This one is in 100 ml, you should see the bottle of a 50 ml: ![]() ![]() ![]() |

A petty haul from the Ken's Apothecary in conjunction with the double points reward for members. I did mention in my previous posting that their online shopping experience could be better, but the in-store experience was superb, SAs were very helpful.
![]() Hand sanitizers by Grown Alchemist were the best seller and sold out during the MCO. They now have it in 500 ml but I didn't procure it: ![]() Digitization has been one of the main focus for most of the companies during this pandemic to stay relevant, and to deliver the goods and services. Nonetheless, most companies have neglected a few crucial touch points in the process of digitization. I have tried ordering something from Valiram and after an email and two phone calls to their customer service team, my order mysteriously appeared at my doorstep the next day. There was no shipment tracking number prior to this. Nothing. Magic does exist, mind you. ![]() My daily consumption: ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by attacusatlas: Jun 14 2020, 10:35 AM |

I would imagine someone such as yourself would enjoy it very much. I am not talking about the daily johnnie walker but more towards whiskies that are for appreciation. Those are life changing whiskies. There is a whole new world for you and everybody here to explore! Nonetheless, I failed tremendously - somehow, whiskies is unpleasing to my tongue palate. It is a shame, I know. Due to this, I stay lingering in the wain category, and only limited to one, maybe two wine yards. I am a very, very casual drinker in real life. Are you happened to be a whisky connoisseur? |

Due to this, I stay lingering in the wain category, and only limited to one, maybe two wine yards. I am a very, very casual drinker in real life. I wouldn't consider myself a connoisseur, just happened to develop an interest with whisky. I usually tell people who have had unpleasant experiences with whisky that they just have not found the right whisky to suit their liking yet. Great thing about whisky is that no 2 bottles of whiskies taste the same and different people will pick of different tasting notes. Notes ranging from bacon to berries to chocolate to coffee and different combinations of notes will bring out different experiences. Are you happened to be a whisky connoisseur? I have been stalking this forum page for years and I understand that this is for fashion but maybe whisky can be a fashion statement as well? Haha cheers guys |
