A seller sent a package to me using pos ekspres yesterday.
I tried to track the package and I got this:

21 Aug 2009 5:09:32 PM PUSAT MEL KUALA LUMPUR Posting
22 Aug 2009 7:30:32 AM GOMBAK Receive from Domestic Location
22 Aug 2009 8:18:45 AM GOMBAK Attempted Delivery
22 Aug 2009 3:35:19 PM GOMBAK Unsuccessful Delivery
Reason: PREMISES CLOSED
Action: Second delivery

I was at home for the whole day though... where's the postman?
what's with this "Attempted delivery"? and "PREMISES CLOSED" do ? rclxub.gif

Sometimes they just don't bother to even call. They shout outside and expect you to hear from inside the house xD

What kind of reason is that? I thought Pos Ekspress doesn't need a signature.
Why didn't they just drop it in your post box?

Well , maybe , just maybe .

Postman is lazy to yell and assumed that there's no one in the premises .

Yes , PE doesnt need signature , but , some postman , to ensure that they doesnt get any complain from the recipient , they rather flag it as cant be delivered parcel than drop it into your house and exposed it to be stolen risk , right ?

Erm...will they really check on the thickness of the envelope? Or as long as it is able to seal up then it's fine?

Thinking of sending some stuff but over the maximum thickness.

But it's not worth taking pos laju. The minimum you pay is RM4.50++ need to add with service charge and tax.
My item just weigh 20 gram. icon_question.gif
Any other option?

15mm to be precise.

I check that even the big RM4 envelope has a maximum limit of only 10mm.
Air mail provides no tracking tho.

You mean pos daftar? Register mail?
Or is there any other way to get tracking number with air mail?

E-parcel?
I check and it's RM2.50 for the first 1kg.

I guess it's the same speed and service with pos daftar.
