anyone can help me??? my e71 when i off n on back it, it didnt detect memory card. i need to remove my card n re-insert it than only able to detect. after that all my application software which install to memory card cannot open. the icon still in the phone but nothing happen when u click on it. izit my memory card spoil or.....

just happen 2 me oso.......ur memory card could be corrupted...just reformat....but need to reinstall back all the application....

if you format and the memory card still have problems then you must replace the memory card. and btw, maybe your memory card are covered in the warranty? if so u can exchange it for a new one FOC.

the part that reads the memory card in the phone could also be a problem but it's rare. it could happen but it's a rare problem.. try checking your memory card with a card reader by inserting files/ copy paste etc and then format it.. if it's non responsive then it's the memory card fault.

which one is better 5800 or e71?

E71.

E71 got the look.

5800 got the size.

yup..e71 the best...slim n stylish....

u wont bore no matter how many time u look at ur e71.
but the cam shutter just a little bit irritating.
E71 - so far so best

if you prefer touch screen, go with 5800..if you prefer stylish, go for e71..basically e71 is more of a business phone..good for business man who rely on emails and on the go..but then, as you can see in this thread, even the non-business man is using it..i'll give this phone 4.5 out of 5..the 0.5 gone is because of the camera..the rest was near to perfection..

This two phones cannot be compare side by side 1. I already posted the comparison few threads back. Search for it. 1 is virtual touchscreen 1 is phsyical qwerty. DOnt always wait us to spoon feed you. Please go to nokia centre test both then u ask us on features which is better? Example u prefer 5800 then u tell us not spoonfeed first.

Other forumer must also give the right support. I seen this many times if the person know what he wants then ask for features or comparison then fine. He do not know what he wants

5800 - Touchscreen S60 phone

E71 - A qwerty S60 phone

CHOOSE. those two are major differences btw..
