let say, mix & match.
I normally a tab of moisturizer with few drop of BB Cream... for sheer coverage;
otherwise depend on how much you want to cover, and add more of BB cream... (moisturizer cream base)

I used to apply BB Cream under my eyes (dark cycle)...
to lighten up my cheekbone... after that a tab on my chin.
and highlight my nose as well.
I am not apply to whole face, because i dont want my face look 'flat'...
Because of my face kind of oily + combination skin...
after BB Cream, i also apply transparent loose powder... look matter and flawless ^^
Dont forget you must remove it by makeup removal as well....

Tinted Moisturizer to let you look healthier, but less coverage.
Included sunblock, moisture, and foundation - all in one...
BB Cream is more oily, also sunblock, full coverage (depends on you how to apply)...

another suggestion,
when apply moisturizer, during semi-dry, apply BB cream, it would be more easier to apply, evenness,
as well as, sheer and look natural.

Hope this will help <3

Yes, it can be. It depends on your goal. Mine is to cover a minor stubborn problem, on skin that is way way over age 20.

Ryan is probably a young stage performer, or aspiring model, so needs the maximum. He probably doesn't go out in the noonday sun with so much cover.

If you have normal skin with only some uneven colour or don't want to look greasy, or just want to keep your skin moist and protected with sunblock, then just a drop of men's BB dotted on 2-4 spots then patted down is enough. Less than one minute to apply, only one step.

If you want to cover badly discoloured patches, sunburn, freckles, pimples, wrinkles, pits, flakes etc. -- you might now imagine why more steps need to be done with more tricky stuff. How do you think women look so good and need so much time to get ready ?!?!

Gotcha, me too. If you I have small areas to cover, I use Body Shop green corrector stick number 2 (darker). General larger areas of face, Face Shop Neo Homme BB cream (for men). One drop on each cheek, forehead, chin. Tap, tap until even, let it oxidize to match skin colour.

I don't do this every day. It may need a makeup remover wash to get it off at night. "Biore oily" is OK, but there may be more gentle ones I haven't tried yet.

@Maggie: Except for the above, I use raw honey, no commercial cleansers, but I don't have acne, so don't know if this would work for you.

Thanks for the tips. Anyway, you mean normal face cleanser can't clean it out? hmm.gif
And do you know how much is the Neo Homme BB Cream? Thanks! smile.gif

I'm not sure. Men's BB is more sweat resistant, so also more waterproof. Go to a shop, try the tester on your arm and see if it washes off later. Overnight on skin is not a good idea.

Corrector stick about 40+
Face Shop BB 50+ big tube
Maybelline or Silky girl (women's BB) 16-20 smaller tube
Remover 10-20

Yup, not exactly cheap but I talked to someone who uses women's famous name brands at average RM$100 for each item!

AFAIK Skin Food BB is unisex. Don't know but it might have whitening and shiny ingredients like women's BB.

I have googled around and people said that Skin Food BB has quite a light shade. Yeah, it's not cheap but I have searched around LYN for brands like Skin79 and BRTC which are even more expensive. I will just get the Face Shop BB and give it a try. Thanks! smile.gif

Well, I will just try it out first. Only using it for maybe let say functions so only a short period. Then won't get too oily.
After trying how effective is it, then only try other more specific products. Thanks. Anyway, what are you doing? Working? hmm.gif

I got The Face Shop Homme today and tried it. Doesn't seem to cover much of my pimple scars but colour of skin probably seems to be a little even. Will try again and take before after photo to see the actual difference.
Doesn't seem oily anyway. smile.gif And it's less than 50 bucks.

bought a tube of Skin79 Homme BB cream n honestly it sucked. sticky, shiny and provides almost no coverage. i think only guys with almost flawless skin could use it. But I rather use A Japanese type milky sunscreen instead.

Reminder/ repeat to all: try the free testers at the pharmacies.

First check which spot on your back of hand, wrist, arm, matches your facial colour.

Put a small dot on that spot and tap it around just a little. Walk around another 5 minutes to let it colour change by itself. You might put more than one brand next to each other to compare. Look under different kinds of artificial lighting and different angles. Some look weird under fluorescent.

@heng : pimple spots easily covered with Body Shop or Revlon corrector stick. If those are too expensive, a tiny drop of Maybelline BB will colour cover but better to pat Face Shop Homme over it to hold it and blend. Unfortunately, you might still have a bump on the skin.

Thanks. Won't have bump cause what I want to cover is the old pimple scar. Last time my hand itchy go press it. doh.gif

Anyway, The Face Shop Homme isn't that water proof. Cause I sweated earlier this morning and when I dry my sweat by just patting my lab coat onto my face, my coat has the colour.
