I wished I had read all the pages of this thread before I used OXY 10 pimple medication, it ruined my face. There's a lot of drying, redness and bumps now. So yeah, careful guys..don't simply use it.

QUOTE(shirley_andy @ Apr 5 2011, 06:20 PM) ya it seems that altho using oxy 10 will eventually heal the pimple, but then that area will have redness, not sure is it becuz of scar or bcuz of the strength of the oxy 10.. I'm the same as you man, oxy cover? I never seen this product before, how much does it cost?however altho I already switch to PanOxyl 2.5, I still like to use A BIT of oxy cover to "make up" my face to cover those redness/scar when I go out.. not sure whether this is advisable but if i don't use it i have lower confidence with visible red scar/spots on my face.. |

QUOTE(Mavisco @ Apr 7 2011, 05:45 PM) Where can I buy those products? share share~QUOTE(jonny4 @ Apr 7 2011, 06:08 PM) Nope. Haha you're right, I was just curious since a few of my friends who went for facials twice a month still has imperfect facesMy general impression is that those ppl working at facial centers r evil. They criticize, scold n insult u so that u will be inclined to buy more of their products or come 4 more facials. I got this impression fr de various blogs i read. |

QUOTE(jonny4 @ Apr 12 2011, 07:44 PM) sunscreen usually uses chemical filters while sunblock uses mineral filters.both terms r usually interchangeable. Thanks for clarifying it for me dude. Do you have any good brands of sunscreen to recommend? And how often do you apply it, while you're going out only? I don't really use any sunblock/sunscreen when I go out cause its oily and noticeable, like my face will be very 'white' in the bad way, so looking for a brand that doesn't do that. I'm kinda tanned right now, regret not taking care of my face last time, plus been active in sports last few years, no solutions for me right? bro we live near the equator n the sunlight is intense all year round. SPF17 is useless. usually those moisturizers with sunscreen are a waste of money. here's why: http://www.scform.com/2009/04/sunscreen.html |

Are acne scars severe and permanent? Mine is not the serious type, just the ones that have red/black bumps / spots. Hope it's not gonna be there forever.

QUOTE(bluswhitehat @ Apr 26 2011, 10:37 AM) No budget really - if the product is good and worth my money I don't mind paying. You need a good moisturizer or scar cream to get rid of the scars. You can't expect to just use a cleanser to clear everything. And like jonny4 said, facial scrubs are not recommended if your skin is acne prone, later your condition would become worse.I'm just looking for facial wash / scrub... nothing else, I'm not into the whole moisturising, toning and what ever have you.. I just wanna wash my face man and get rid of the scars |

QUOTE(bluswhitehat @ Apr 26 2011, 11:00 AM) For cleanser it depends on your skin compatibility. I'm using Oxy Deep Cleansing Wash for a long time already. Once you find a suitable product, keep using it and do not keep changing or blemishes will appear. For scars you could try using SkinLabs 1) Concentrated Vitamin E Cream 2) Therapy Oil You can find these two products in Guardian or Caring pharmacies. |

QUOTE(jonny4 @ Apr 26 2011, 12:39 PM) I suggest the Shiseido Men Cleansing Foam. it's pricey but cleans the face well without drying. its RM95 for 125ml but u only need a bit to wash de face. moreover u dun want to use toners n moisturizers so this product will suit u. Although I do recommend the use of a moisturizer at night. Where can I find Shiseido outlets? and how come you do not recommend the usage of moisturizer at night?scars won't go away by just washing. although over a long period of time the scars will lighten. |
