and the cut off happened during the part where Marcus fought the Terminator in SKYNET to save Connor during the last part. Of course after activating the AVR again, the problem did not happen anymore.

I think skynet try to tap into your AVR.. biggrin.gif that's why it got the red glow like T-800 eyes..

I'm not suggesting that you buy a BDP. I was saying that the hook up to a pre-amp is similar to the hook up to a BDP (which is capable of decoding).

I wonder if EXT-IN, for SW channel means it can do bass management? or just pass thro to SW out?

It's not a crime, but it could be breach of agreement. If someone don't want to "honour their previous agreement" it is a breach (but few people will take legal action if it is small matter). Also theoretically contract can be formed verbally, don't always need to sign contract.

well is a He said she said thing.. how you gonna prove it if verbal? record phone call ar?

tell me what legal action?

In this case it's not buyer that changed mind. Buyer is saying that seller never responded after they agreed. If seller wants to back out, then at least have the courtesy to notify the buyer.
*
it a courtesy issue not a legal issue.. if can sue based on these flimsy case, all the better.. maybe get free Denon amp? biggrin.gif

The difficulty with verbal contracts is one of proof. But if you can prove it, e.g. recorded or there are other eyewitness present, it may be construed as a contract. The hard part is proving it and proving exactly what was said and agreed upon. The point I was making is that the law recognizes unwritten contracts.

Free Denon amp? Use your head a bit lah...  doh.gif U think if got legal case you will get things free meh? Besides, from a practical viewpoint the high legal costs and long process time means that it's not worth it to pursue legal action unless the stakes are high.
*
then use your head also la this kind of situation posted earlier , just ask people to move along lor simple enuf lor..so simplistic issue also want to bring in breach of contract etc.. doh.gif

In this kind of small matter of course people will just let it slide and move along. I wasn't suggesting that in this specific case to take legal action.

However, I just wanted to point out the technical inaccuracy in your statement: "I dun see any crime if people suddenly dowan to honour their previous agreement..  where got sign any contract." You gave the impression that if never sign any contract there is no foul. Or if people don't want to honour previous agreement (without contract) also ok. Seemed like a rather sweeping statement. I'm just talking about the broader issue that in some cases verbal agreement can be binding. That's all.  icon_rolleyes.gif

I was posting it with respect to this issue i.e. a denon amp.. weigh the issue at hand also lor, small matter want to remind people of legal obligation or kena sue?
if you just argueing in matter of principle, then I agree with you, but we live in real world so have to weigh what kind of advise you want to dispense to people with respect to the amount involved in this case. in this case Legal issue is not option due to financial cost involve, so why bring it up? the cost of legal fee is more than a used amp.. so logically, moving on is a better option.
I brought up free denon amp to the winner cos it's as nonsensical as asking him to sue the seller in this scenario..

this can also hold for buyers, after they FFK seller (many of these case in mobile phone threads or garage sale.. where buyer FFK after they find a cheaper priced thread else where) , maybe we should advise seller should sue them cos FFK for 2 stick of RAM memory or used nokia phone??

anyway we are just arguing for the sake or discussion.. peace ok? biggrin.gif smile.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

No worries bro, we're just having a discussion. And yes, to clarify I was speaking on matter of principle. Sometimes I do that just to highlight the issues and legalities involved (from a point of theory). Just so people are aware. Then comes the reality, whether worthwhile to do so or not. Anyway, I've gone OT so back to Denon....  biggrin.gif
