Agreed. yea seriously.. don wear ladies clothes.. the cutting is different and it'll make u look weird... doesn't mean if ur not thin u can't wear fitting clothes.. if ur bulky n u wear loose clothes, it'll make u look fatter instead.. @cityofpalms
No offense but I think you really need to reconsider the way you pose for photo. |

QUOTE(cityofpalms @ Mar 31 2009, 07:12 PM) Agreed. I feel that there are too many matching colours in your look: i.e blue and red are too strong (on the jeans, belt, tie and even the designs on the shirt itself) that is screaming The-American-Patriot look. Try adding some other complementary colour into the mix instead of focusing solely on red and blue in nearly every single article of clothing there and the outcome will be a lot better. I know what you mean Okini, but since the rest of my outfit today is so damned drab, I welcome the bling.

And I dressed this up just for fun. Any comments? ![]() Shirt: Chargers Tie: Gift from father Jacket: From bundle Jeans: From FOS Belt: No brand Bag: Playboy with Carlo Rino strap 1) the pose is bad, do not ever ever pose like this for a picture, unless you are trying to be comically funny.. if u've notice, no models (or any other people) ever pose like this.. it's just too corny.. 2) the shirt, not fitting.. it's too loose, hence, not suitable to be tucked in.. 3) the shirt, is not meant to be matched with a tie as they already have prints (writing kind prints, rather than repetitive mild patterns which should be alright instead ) on it.. it's too much to be handled.. 4) The tie is too high school.. it's like high school musical.. very very frat (nerdy look?)... again, i believe if the tie is matchd with plain white shirt, it should still be okay.. and it should not be worn with jeans.. too much blue 5) the belt colour is too reddish (in a striking way), which is bad because you already have a lot of other colours in your look.. you need some colour coordination.. not to ask you to only wear a single or 2 colours in your look, but it's just too much.. now u have beige, white, plenty of blue and red, which i dun think they match.. 6) the jacket, doesn't look right with ur look.. maybe it's the colour, havent really seen how the jacket is.. if the jacket is not there, it might not be so bad.. 7) oh and the bag too, please loose it when you are with your current look.. they just don't match.. a plain leather messenger bag will help.. that bag with prints of brand on the strap is bad (very tacky too).. plus it doesn't help bcos it's not gucci or LV..no idea why you would want to "show off" carlo rino.. lose the strap i think your messenger bag will look very much better.. conclusion :- I hope you are just throwing pieces togethr randomly and wear them for the pic.. hope you didnt went out with that look.. i think what's can be improved is your fashion sense.. a lot of room for improvement.. that's the most important thing now.. |

Thanks hikari. Quite detail there.
Ok now question, how can we actually make it better for this type of style (can I say this is casual style?) As I believe a lot of ppl out there dont know how to mix and match properly (including me) a) What type or belt and color is the best suited with blue jeans? b) Can the tie been replaced with other color or its better if there is no tie? c) For shirts with printed like the one in the picture, is it best to tuck it in or hang it out? Please advise. Seriously no idea. Huhu. |

Some people like to wear very big pattern like eagle pattern or Superman pattern. you mean the buckle? well you could say that because jeans are casual, therefore its alright to go with big buckles and patterns, but guys usually grow out of wearing them and soon will opt for more subtle looking belts..If belt should be match with color of shoe, how about the bag? Does it has to match also? i dont think you need to be all hardcore and have the need to match every single thing, go with black/brown/white bags and you'll be safe.. |
