Does this same company make filter lenses for SLR camera? There is Hoya for camera filters but i'm not sure if it's the same.

Yup, it's the same company. Most other companies do the same thing, make lenses for camera and specs. Eg Nikon, Carl Zeiss, etc

Im sorry that Im not satisfied with the answers, please allow me to specific my Qs again - your contributions are very much appreciated!

1) Is there a way to differenciate a good and a bad sunglasses? No? We just put our $ on trust isnt it?
I cant possibly attemp to break the glasses when I walk into a shop and try out the glasses. So, i have to go by luck and trust, am i not?

2)
a-Is HOYA glasses good for those with eye sights issue? If not, share with us why not?
b-For those with eye sight issues, and not wililng to go for Lazik nor Contact lenses, is HOYA the only choice?
c-Other than HOYA, what other choices do we have?

In regards to lenses, there's plenty of lenses available in the market. For example, HOYA, ESSILOR, CARL ZEIS, other non-branded lenses, locally made lenses, etc.

Those in caps are among the top brand for lenses. There's plenty of advantage getting these lenses and they offer very much higher quality in terms of it's protection and coatings. So of course I would recommend people to use the good lenses for the good of their eyes. I mean, if you're willing to spend on looks (frames), then surely you should invest in something GOOD for your eyes (lenses)! smile.gif

In what sense do you say it's unreliable?

Their sunglasses IMHO are fair, as I've used one sporty one during my high school for numerous occasions, sporty occasions most often. Until today they look fine, just that all the rubber parts have cracked and became old it cant be used anymore. But that's a normal ageing process I believe.

For the price of Rm 150-200, you really cant be looking at any big brands like Oakley or Rayban. Probably an unbranded pair. There's plenty out there! smile.gif

Sorry? you're comparing polarized and non-polarized? It's up to personal preference, not about which is better. Check out the link in the previous threads about polarized shades! smile.gif

Some help needed guys.
I love Aviators, but the size in Malaysia is too big for me so I ended up buying some other model a year back.

There're 3 sizes for the Aviators. Any chance I can get my hands on the S sized Aviators in Malaysia?

i think it was mentioned somewhere back in this thread that malaysia only brings in the medium size for the RB3025..

anyway i never believed in such a thing where sunglasses are too big (unless ur face is as small as a baby's).. just look at all the sunglasses around now, most are meant to be "oversized" - which in turn means they are regular..

i kinda like the sunglasses, in fact i may even actually get them, but classy is simply a word i cant conform to this pair.. classy is always subtle and understated.. and this one is clearly not even close to that.. this pair is more fashionable and loud..

if you want classic aviators, stick with the rayban 3025..

Yea, that's why I'm hoping there's someone who brings in the Small size. I've tried the M sized one, it was really big for me. Bought the RB3362 instead.

How about Singapore? Does Singapore only bring in M sizes only?

yeah well you see the GA shirt is subtle and understated but it feels and looks awesome! whereas the sunglasses it would give more brand recognition as people could see it miles away that it being LV so quite tacky but i love it too!

when buying branded stuffs, i always consider 2 things, 1 is will i use it regularly in future or m i just attracted by it suddenly and i would just keep it aside after wearing it one or twice~oh man, many ppl repeat such mistakes and waste lotsa money~the 2nd thing that i consider is how long wil it last..just my 2 cents feeling hahax~for me,these stuffs are pretty expensive and i have to make sure that i need it and i want it before i purchase it~this help me solve a lot of problems and wastages are minimized..hope this may help u~~

what do u want in ya heart? i believe u have got the answer, so straight away go to the 1 that u want so u can enjoy ya shopping and u can use it happily..

or maybe u can get ya GA shirt first, and then get the sunglasses in some other day..happy shopping ya~~
