Mmmm nope. Based on our hands on experience, Microsoft will ban the console. And that thing about replacing the HDD to unban is a hilarious myth.

We have been playing online using mostly SG accounts. A few use US.

Oh and that part about having a modded console will get you banned by Microsoft is a half truth. There are some variables to consider. For the record, I know 2 players from this forum who have been playing pirated games on live since quite a while without getting the banhammer.

i suggest you go for XBOX360 if you want more games for family.
Just download through XBOX live. ANd good thing , it has old games like tetris.

More cool games on PS3

Well, about the HDD, i cant confirm it, since I've read it at some er.. blog
cant recall the site. Um, sorry if my info was wrong, I've had the console this month, and I've been doing some research on it. Learn From Mistake right?

my bad, anyway, er well, I need help with live thingy T_T,
I did sign up using the console, but when i tried to log in/ sign in using computer, it requires me to choose a Gamer tag again.. can help?
FYI, i have a 1 month gold member trial.. wkakaka

basically if u wanna open this kindda topic , do post it at console couch..cause if u post it into Xbox thread , and most of it totally Xbox360 gamers , for sure they would say Xbox360 better interms of games or what so ever..

actually in this kindda situation , u must look at what kindda games u want , and what function u want for ur console...the answer u got will decide which console is the best for u...

The risk is simple enough for you to consider:
If you get banned, there is no known way yet to unban the console. In other words if you wanna play online you'd have to buy another console.

Some are elusive to the banhammer because they know what they're doing and Microsoft have yet to find a way to break this 'defense'. Either that or they're just waiting for the right time.
But I'm not telling you the variables. tongue.gif


Mine is not modded btw, and that includes my dead 360.
