Added on November 28, 2009, 6:56 pmDiamonds is actually not bad but smells very synthetic after a few wearings IMHO. I do wear it from time to time but I won't recommend Diamonds as an everyday fragrance. [/quote] Just bought it today. I will only use it on special occasion. So I think will be ok.

QUOTE(euphoriaa @ Nov 29 2009, 12:52 PM) wat is the correct way to use perfumes? i dont seem to get it. fellow sifus, pls help! Spray/apply to skin. Don't be too stingy or too liberal with the perfume. Test a few times to get the best combination of sprays that suits you. Simple as that. I normally apply 5 sprays. 2 spray to the neck and another 3 more sprays to the chest under the clothes. Spraying under clothes (chest, abdomen and etc) gives better longevity but less sillage (trail of scent) and applying to exposed skin areas (arms, wrists, back of neck and sides of neck) gives better sillage (trail of scent) but lower longevity. That's why i apply to both exposed and unexposed areas to maximize sillage and longevity. There is no set rule about how much or where to apply your perfume. Just be thoughtful of those around you and the situation/occasion. Also understand that the smell u get right after spraying on a perfume is most of the time different from the smell u get an hour later. Often your perfume will smell weaker and less intense after an hour compared to after just spraying it on. This is normal and it does not mean your perfume is fake or you didn't apply enough. A lot of guys make this mistake and end up applying too much because they don't understand the way a perfume evolves throughout the day. This post has been edited by jonny4: Nov 29 2009, 01:31 PM

A lot of guys make this mistake and end up applying too much because they don't understand the way a perfume evolves throughout the day. to add, some perfumes may smell weak when you first spray it, but it gets more and more intense as time passes. those are the ones that you should not apply too much. Then, strong perfumes will require less sprays compared to weaker ones. So you would need to actually use the perfume to find out how much you need to apply then adjust accordingly the next time. Generally, i spray my pits as well because i have strong BO and also to help the scent distribute evenly around my body.

Follow what jonny4 told you and avoid rubbing the perfumes when you spray them on. I've seen many people rub it when they spray it on, when I met my customer who purchase perfumes from me. He took a spray on his wrist, rubbing both wrist together and then rub his neck , that's a very bad habit. And normally people complaint that the perfume cant last on them is because they rub it or maybe caused by other factors.

QUOTE(razorcyrus @ Nov 30 2009, 10:10 PM) hmm, why is rubbing bad?? coz you dillute the perfume making it smell lighter as its spread unevenly across your skin. this does not, however apply to strong scents like Guerlain Heritage and M7. Heritage is really strong. I spray and the whole house can smell lol.

Anyone interested with Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gior 100ml for men? I'm selling off my used Acqua Di Gior for only RM115 which is really a great buy for people interested in using it. Bored with the smell. Left around 80%.
Really love the smell when I just started using it, but not now. Prefer other aquatic perfumes compared to ADG, but yeah ADG is still very popular right now. (:

Hmm one drop perfume, I used one bottle before which my friend gave me for free because he's onedrop perfume seller last time. As for per box, yeah there's plenty of variety, but the projection of the perfume is very poor. Because it is made without acohol in it, that's why the smell of the perfume cannot really project well.
