learn to improvise. its no point knowing the scale and not using them. if u can, try to record a riff and loop it over and over, and try to solo over it.

Guys, I got sth to ask about scales. How do I apply major scale in the key of G into other key like C? And which minor scale should I learn next, natural or harmonics minor??

It's the same way as you play G scale. Just drag your finger to the C note on the 6th string... Same goes to other notes too...

u dont bother about scales...just play lots of chromatics, make faces like gary moore so ppl think u ada 'feel', then u call it jazz.

i suggest u start with the minor pentatonic scales

metronome.
it helps u prevent sloppiness. (if u practise right)

and the more precise u play, the more neat it is.
