All WW. 1 big mama with 7 kids. Damn they love the rose flavor I bought for them from MidValley.

BTW a bit of advertisement here, rose/lavender for sale at RM6 for 500 grams at Pet's Wonder Land. Quite a bargain.

scented sand baths arent good for their skins and for their nose too...i've heard people saying that their hamsters turned aggresive after placing the scented sand in the cage..you can use normal chincilla sand(not dust).

lol, your hammies are so chubby...but, you hammies eyes seem to worry me, is she down with glaucoma? and the cage is TOO small, don't you think so(the blue one) and there's hardly space to move and add toys.

But WW items are cheaper rite?(Not maintenance fees)
*
what items do you mean? you mean hamster price?
not quite sure of the price of the hamsters as my hammy is a rescued one...but i remember buying my first syrian for RM15..if you're getting your first hammie syrians would be the one for you. syrians are much slower(less agile) compared to dwarfs and it is easier to tame them...dwarfs are fine too, but if you're really dedicated to tame them, then go for it...
breeder hamsters are definately more tame because they are used to handling.

Just want to ask that which is okay to take care of.....syrian or WW ?  icon_question.gif

Getting confused to buy where ( I thinking to buy from the sunway or the pet wonderland in mid-valley )  rclxub.gif
*
if this is your first hamster, go for syrian, it is more tame and slower.

lalabubbles..u oni breed WW r? no syrian? got any good breeder 2 recomend?
*
hmm...syrian breeders are hard to find la especially in our country...or you could just go around looking for young ones in petshops...older ones are nt very hard to tame if you're committed.

Petsmore 1utama is at Wang Utama rite? If it's there, then my house is near lolz  biggrin.gif

I prefer to buy WW but how much does the cage sell? ( 4 WW in one cage lol )  doh.gif
*
4 in a cage? that's horrid! but, depends how big is you cage though.... smaller cage tend to cause fights in groups.

wow! is he a true breeder or he does it just for the sake of breeding(which means for fun/in his free time/to multiply hamsters).
it is definately a good news if he's really a breeder.could you ask him if he keeps track of his litters and their genetics?
got lots of questions to ask coz i'm excited there's a syrian breeder!
but is he keeping few syrians in one cage, that could be REALLY REALLY bad.

to all the Dr. Do Little

i just bought 2 new hamster and they are about 2 months old according to the pet shop owner

what type/breed ? i am not sure... but i will take a picture of it to show you guys

i am just curious how much food should i give them

cause i give them about a sauce plate full of food and they finished in a day

is that just nice for them? cause they finished it in like a day
*
they might have stashed it somewhere in the cage or it could be hiding in their "pockets"...please post pics ASAP because if your's are syrians then they must be separated immediately.
